i mostly go during lunch hours as i used to work in the same strip...but ive had dinner here too! the owners, managers as well as waiters here are consummate professionals! and know what they are doing..... i have never had to reach for salt or pepper to season my food here! they do it perfectly! the french onion soup, cajun blackened chicken caesar salad and blue crab open faced sandwich are amongst my many favorites on the menu! i miss these guys now that i no longer work on that side of town more

My business requires me to eat out about 20 times a month including lunches and dinners. Although Marks is my favorite Houston restaurant, Restaurant Ronit is in my top 5 in Houston. The food is always very good. The seafood crepes is the entree I order most. There is an abundance of seafood, a great sauce and terrific vegetables. I love good coffee and they always make each cup fresh, rich and hot. The service is good but not intrusive. I enjoy being able to carry on conversation with my guests without having to raise my voice. I find their prices to be reasonable for the quality, quantity and service. As I am writing this I just remembered - I need to get a reservation for this coming Friday for lunch. Pros: Excellent Food - Quiet. Cons: Hard to find - sits back from the street. more

I absolutely ADORE this place! The atmosphere is lovely, the menu is varied, the food is delicious and the desserts are "to die for!!" I am hopelessly addicted to the fried goat cheese salad! And the strawberry cream cake,,,,,OH MY GOD!!!! If I ever get married, that will definitely be the cake for me!!!!!! The prices are reasonable and the service is good...not pushy or invasive, yet attentive. I highly recommend Ronit's for special occasions, lunch with the girls, or first dates. I don't know how someone could complain about the price of this place. The prices are very reasonable! I have never been here and been disappointed. It's very pretty and looks like a French cafe restaurant. I ordered the lunch of Moroocan Chicken, calamari appetizers (the appetizer itself was a meal) the bread and the olive oil was delicious! They put some green herb in the oil that I can't describe. The servers are professional and treat you so nicely. more

I have to tell you that I had high hopes for Restaurant Ronit...What an overpriced mess! My husband and I were completely disappointed. For a little place with absolutely NO business and the WORST muzak ever, this place has quite an ego. The entrees were all over $20, not including a salad. I understand high prices when the quality measures up, but that just doesn't happen here. I had the vegetable dumplings with pepper salad. The peppers were limp and flavorless and clearly had seen better days. The salad, too, lacked dimension-- you can't just throw mesclun in a bowl with a bit of balsamic for $8! Also, the bread was stale, and the veal parmesan had a slice of melted PROVOLONE, instead of parmiggiano. Go elsewhere. more

This may be the best (and best priced) Sunday brunch in Houston. $30 for four courses including bottomless champagne/mimosa. Large portions (seafood crepes!!) of excellent food. Dinner is also excellent and reasonably priced. Fish stew, great wine list, steak - all well done. And the service is completely professional without being overbearing.
