This being the 2nd time we have used rescue rooter we are extremely pleased of the work and how efficient they were. when I called for help they were extremely fast my pipes under my house had several holes Charles showed up within several minutes of his arrival the original guy Anthony showed up. enjoyed seeing a face that we had seen before they found all the problems and matt showed up the next day and fixed all of our pipes. thanxs so much gentlemen we will for sure call rescue rooter in the future. more

This review is about Matt E and the top notch, professional service he provided. I had an issue with some old PVC piping that started to leak onto the ceiling above my laundry room causing a big mess. Matt came out and replaced the needed pipes and thoroughly cleaned and vacuumed after the repair was complete. Even wore booties on his shoes as to not track dirt into my home. If only everyone I dealt with was this professional. Thanks again Matt & Rescue Rooter! more

ZERO STARS!! To say my overall experience with Rescue Rooter was ***negative*** would be an understatement. Rescue Rooter stole my time, my income as well as trust in their name. Because of my experience I feel impressed to WARN others to consider other options when in need of service. I had a plumbing issue I requested service on a Sunday evening. I was advised that a service person would be at my house the following day (Monday) between 12-4pm. I adjusted my employment responsibilities and took time off work, not because my work schedule is flexible but because the plumbing needed to be fixed. A Rescue Rooter technician did not show up on Monday. I was called by a representative of Rescue Rooter and told that I was in the schedule for the following day (Tuesday). Again, nobody showed up. I was called yet again and informed that the next day a Rescue Rooter service person would be there “after the morning meeting”. On this day (Wednesday) I took the whole day off work to be available for the promised service call, “after the morning meeting”. I kept waiting - ALL morning, and then ALL afternoon, until 6pm that evening. My frustration was building to an all time high after losing income for going on the third day. Wednesday the promised Rescue Rooter technician was a no show. Again. Thursday morning, for the FIFTH time I was told I would have service by 4pm. By 4:15 I realized that I had been duped. Sick of the lies behind the chipper-voiced phone calls, I called another company who came within hours and completed the work. I am out at least 25 hours worth of work and my family relies on every hour of my income. Shame on them! I question this company's ethics. Why don't they tell customers the TRUTH –they have too many jobs for how many technicians on staff. Weeks later I received a letter filled with mumb-jumbo verbiage and a coupon for $50 off FUTURE WORK (a coupon already available on their website). What? While on a work assignment on the east coast, we found out via a call from the water company, that we had a water leak at our house in Hillsboro. It was a Friday night and I called the plumber that was recommended by the water company. When they could not come out until the following week, I got on line and found Rescue Rooter / Lack Howk who stated they had emergency service. Larry Peters was the plumber that showed up at the house within an hour of my call. My neighbor was able to meet him and let him into the house. Larry inspected all the plumbing in the house and could not find anything. From there he went into the crawl space and could not find anything there so he traced the leak to the exterior line from the meter to the house. Staying in touch with me constantly, he was able to get me a bid and contract documents that night. He lined up his machine operator Gil to be in Monday morning, emergency locates for Monday morning and told me he would have it completed by end of day Monday. This was the 22nd of December.... Christmas week. Not only did he get it done on time but was able to get it inspected and signed off by Tuesday. Larry told me, at the time of the quote, that he would do everything he could to minimized the cost and the damage to the landscaping and irrigation system. Once complete, he was able to do just that. He did not have to do a portion of the work that was in the bid and he credited me that cost back, just as he said he would. He did a great job putting the landscaping back to as close to normal as possible and he ensured the irrigation system was left as it was found. He attention to detail and constant communication with me was beyond anything I could have expected. From a homeowner trying to handle this emergency from 3,500 miles away, on a Friday going into Christmas week, all I can say is THANK YOU Larry and Gil. Not only would I recommend them to anyone, but they will my first call for any plumbing issue I have in the future. Do yourself a favor, don't look anywhere else. more
