ZERO STARS!! To say my overall experience with Rescue Rooter was ***negative*** would be an understatement. Rescue Rooter stole my time, my income as well as trust in their name. Because of my experience I feel impressed to WARN others to consider other options when in need of service. I had a plumbing issue I requested service on a Sunday evening. I was advised that a service person would be at my house the following day (Monday) between 12-4pm. I adjusted my employment responsibilities and took time off work, not because my work schedule is flexible but because the plumbing needed to be fixed. A Rescue Rooter technician did not show up on Monday. I was called by a representative of Rescue Rooter and told that I was in the schedule for the following day (Tuesday). Again, nobody showed up. I was called yet again and informed that the next day a Rescue Rooter service person would be there “after the morning meeting”. On this day (Wednesday) I took the whole day off work to be available for the promised service call, “after the morning meeting”. I kept waiting - ALL morning, and then ALL afternoon, until 6pm that evening. My frustration was building to an all time high after losing income for going on the third day. Wednesday the promised Rescue Rooter technician was a no show. Again. Thursday morning, for the FIFTH time I was told I would have service by 4pm. By 4:15 I realized that I had been duped. Sick of the lies behind the chipper-voiced phone calls, I called another company who came within hours and completed the work. I am out at least 25 hours worth of work and my family relies on every hour of my income. Shame on them! I question this company's ethics. Why don't they tell customers the TRUTH –they have too many jobs for how many technicians on staff. Weeks later I received a letter filled with mumb-jumbo verbiage and a coupon for $50 off FUTURE WORK (a coupon already available on their website). What? Why would I *ever* consider using Rescue Rooter in the future? As an individual, would YOU use a company
