I was amazed that they did not even have to remove the wall paper in the upstairs bath (even tough I said it was okay I was going to be taking it down anyway after the holidays). I'm a mechanic by trade, so I know a bit about these things. I watched my tech from Repipe Specialists, and he was conscientious and worked well. When he soldiered, he didn't scorch any paint or anything. I was impressed. He put pipes in places I thought they would never go, and he was as tidy as tidy can be. He always came on time, called back, and did not leave us without water. And, he was willing to come back when we needed him. more

I bought a house that had a few "issues", one of which was 60 year old iron pipe which was restricting water flow and at the end of its useful life. My realtor consulted her network for a way to get the plumbing fixed and Repipe Specialists came back consistently as the firm to use. Since re-piping is their business they are optimized to do this compared to a regular plumbing firm. John met with me to estimate the job. He did a thorough inspection of my plumbing and discussed how they could get pipes to some tight spaces. He explained how the work would be done -- the old pipes are just cut out and capped then all new pipe installed. Holes that had to be made in the walls are then patched as part of the job. I had a choice of pipe material - copper or plastic which affected the price. Also explained their guarantee and that their company is allowed by my local government to self-inspect their work. John was very professional in his presentation and did not mind answering every question I had. He gave me the bid and said I could call their office to schedule work if I wanted them to do the job. No high pressure tactic. I decided to go ahead with the work. Scheduling the job was easy - just a phone call. The work is done in two waves - the piping crew comes in and does the demo and re-piping and after they are done a crew of master plasterers / wall repairers comes through to close all the holes. The piping work was done by a crew of about 5 guys who really knew their craft. They were all nice guys too. They took care to create as little mess as possible but they did have to cut holes in the walls to cut off old pipes and get new pipes installed. The new pipes were run through the attic with drops into various rooms so the guys were up in the attic in tight spaces. They were very fast at getting pipes in and connected. My house is a long ranch with numerous additions so it took the team 2 days to do their work. The team leader made sure he showed me all the work done (short of crawling around in the attic) before they left so I could see it and agree there was no leaks or other things of concern. Three days later the wall repair crew visited. They were amazing. I have never seen any group so skilled and swift at doing wall repairs (I have had two houses remodeled in the past). They were able to seamlessly patch my stucco exterior, which had been a concern of mine. They patched all the holes in the walls well, though a couple I think could have been just a bit better feathered. But overall it was amazing. It took them about 6 hours to repair everything. This crew was also friendly hard working and very professional. They were very good about cleaning up their mess also. When they were done my walls were in good shape, just needing priming and painting where the patches were done. Once I re-painted You could not tell the house had received a completely new water system. The job cost was the amount estimated - no hidden charges, no surprises. I paid in pieces as the work was completed. I am very happy with the plumbing. It's made a big difference in the livability of the place. There has been zero sounds from the new plumbing and everything work works great. Re-pipe Specialists was great to work with. I recommend them highly. It is increasingly rare to find a company that will live up to all their promises but Re-Pipe Specialists is one of those. If you are thinking of replacing your plumbing this is the company to call. more

My 52 year old house had mixed copper and mostly galvanized plumbing. I was given a carefully explained quote for the lateral runs, hoping the copper pipes reached down far enough. The day of work, they showed up on time as promised (a rarity in the remodel construction world). The work crew of 4 plumbers, inspected the pipes by going into the crawl space. The copper pipies did not go down to the laterals so the walls would have to be opened up, including the double showers. They had a matching brass plate to fit the new hole in the shower, we agreed on the additional work and price. Then they started to work and were done early. I still paid 30 less than I expected. All follow up work with the city inspectors was done the next day, the wholes patched and re-inspected by the city, over the next 2 days. No leaks no problems and they even fixed my water line to the refrigerator when it plugged up from all of the old debris still in the pipe. The guys knew what they are supposed to do. more

I needed a new main line put in and a few days later it was done. No trouble, cost less than any plumber. Honest and friendly staff. more

Repipe Specialists are terrific! I highly recommend them, and I already have to several people actually! I got several estimates for my project, and then talked to a few people that had used Repipe too. Everyone I talked to thought they were great, like my neighbor who loved them and still had their card with the contact information of a former employee who also gave them a glowing review too. I decided to go with them and I'm glad I did. They arrived on time, and were very polite and professional. I appreciated that they were very careful with my hardwood floors. They worked fast and efficiently and ended up getting the 3 day job done in two. I don't care if you work at McDonald's or wherever, if you do good work and are a professional, I'll appreciate it and let you know. These guys do great work!
