Exceptional Service!! 10/6/2011

REO is one of the few HVAC companies around that are worth trusting! (I have dealt with several). The staff at REO are all very professional and calls are returned in a timely manor. I am very impressed that not only is there an after hours emergency line but that the owner herself is the contact for such calls a majority of the time. There just are not enough dedicated owners out there anymore more

BEST SERVICE 9/16/2011

REO has the most qualified people coming out. I had them come out because i was loosing freon in my unit and they didnt just tell me what was wrong and tried to overcharge me. They showed me everything and explain in detail, what was wrong with the unit, what the cause was, what will happen if i dont fix the problem and how much it would cost. Excellent 2 thumbs up more

Very dishonest owner! 9/9/2011

REO installed my new AC incorrectly and it wouldn't cool. Mike came out to repair it a few times, including charging me for a new thermostat, but it never worked. After 2 months of frustration, I asked Maria to remove the system and give me a refund. Once I asked for the refund, she stopped taking my calls. Once she got my money, she didn't care about the work her company did. To me she seems very dishonest and selfish. At one point she told me she couldn't help me because she was shopping for her daughter's birthday party decorations. Is it possible to award negative stars as a rating? more

The office personnel are VERY nice and helpful 8/25/2011

This co. will work with you! They did in house financing at 0% for us; after they helped me with SMUD paperwork that came in at 17% I was glad to see REO was willing to do in house for us. They also installed a EMS system that has been great we have noticed about a 15% drop in our utility bill. The office staff worked with me on phone Several day's in a row to learn the online controls for our EMS thermostat, and how to install the controls onto my smartphone! I love my new system and the alerts that are sent to me when ever my kids come from school I LOVE that. Great People! ~Nancy more

REO 8/6/2010

I had another company tell me it would cost $10-12,000 for a new AC and furnace. I called REO Mechanical for a second opinion. Steve came out on this extremely hot day and began crawling under my house (which the other company didn't bother doing) and he discovered that the problem was with the ducting under my house. He fixed the problem right then and there and saved me thousands of dollars! He never made me feel bad about having to crawl under my house in that heat with all of those spiders. He took time to explain what was needed and before you know it, we had AIR! I'm telling everyone I know about your company. I have been amazed at what I have been hearing about other people's experiences with other companies. I tell them if they want to work for an honest company to call REO Mechanical! more
