Reni's Bridal Boutique

Before going to Reni's I had visited at least 8 other dress shops in town and was beginning to feel very discouraged about finding THE dress. I thought I was going to have to settle for a dress that was just ""ok"". However, my experience at Reni's was like none other! She never once showed me a dress over my budget (which is very rare for dress shops), and I loved that! Furthermore, once she got a feel for the look I desired, she brought out some gowns that were perfect and one-of-a kind! Reni and her assistant gave me their full attention and made the experience so much fun. Reni has quite the eye for what looks good on specific body types; she definitely won't tell you that every single dress looks great just so you'll buy it, like some of the other shops do. Needless to say I did find THE dress and I had SO many compliments on it at the wedding! Plus, she helped my mother find a stunning dress to wear as well. Thank you Reni for the amazing experience! My daughter was married in April, and Reni & her staff made everything so easy & wonderful. The search for the dress...others were like vultures, but at Reni's, they really wanted us happy, my daughter to find her ""perfect"" dress. After determining the style that my daughter preferred, they brought in several in addition to what my daughter had pointed out...it was Reni, herself, whom found that dress my daughter deemed as perfect. The next task, the veil...also had to be perfection...Reni's made it happen. It is true that Reni isn't happy if the bride isn't...she even made the bride's mother extremely happy! They embraced the party we brought with us to view this perfect ensemble, 9 of us...they took it in stride. With their investment of time, the enthusiam, & eye for detail, it was like we were working with family; they too, only want the best! Reni's has it all, the dress, veil, garter, and more. Reni is absolutely amazing! I was referred to her boutique by my cousin's wife. I had a terrible experience at David's Bridal and when I got to Reni's I was welcomed with warm arms and loving, happy faces. I had picked out a certain few dresses to try, although Reni had my dressing room full of dresses that she thought I would love. She saved one for me to try on last (that was not on my list) and had told my mother that, that would be the dress I loved. It was the dress we bought. She knows exactly what fits your body type and what style looks best on you. She is very honest and very open. That is what I love. At David's all I heard was that everything looked perfect and beautiful, even when it was horrid. Reni will not let you leave her store with a dress that does not make you look absolutely amazing. I had a great experience at Reni?s. The woman who helped me gave me great suggestions on different styles to try that would work well with my body type. I ended up finding a dress that looked great, and makes me feel amazing. Reni is not the type of person to tell you that you look beautiful in a dress when you really don?t, which was something I personally appreciated. Everyone was very patient with me and was more than willing to spend the three hours it took to help me find my dress. more

My future daughter-in-law and I drove 210 miles to shop for an item for her wedding. I read the reviews & thought with a five star rating from some of the customers, this must be the place. Golly gee wiz, was I wrong! The 5 star rating states ""RUN, DON'T WALK!"" should be the excerpt for a 1 star rating, or better yet, a ZERO rating! I have NEVER been treated so poorly in my 50+ years. I'm not certain who ""buzzed"" us in the door, whether she was the owner or an employee who had to work on a Saturday, but we quickly were treated so rudely, we left; thus, this review is written. This woman made it perfectly clear she didn't want or need our business. She needs an attitude adjustment & lessons in customer service! We chose ""Dress Gallery"" on west Douglas St. We spent 2 1/2 hrs in this boutique & received the best service ever! more

I read the reviews and decided that Reni's was the first place I was going to go. It is a small shop but is very personal and they make it all about you. There is a large amount of dresses that makes it almost hard to decide. I went to David's Bridal the day after and was super happy to have been to Reni's first. They weren't as personal and way to busy. The gowns at Reni's aren't over $2,000 which was a relief because I didn't want to fall in love with something that would be out of my budget. Even though it is a small shop it has a lot to offer and I would recommend this store to anyone. They will be very pleased with the service provided. Thank you Reni's for all that you did for me. Reni was recommended to me by my future sister-in-law and mother-in-law. My future sister-in-law bought her dress at Reni's and had a very positive experience. I went to a few other bridal boutiques before going to Reni's. I went to another bridal store in Wichita on the West side and thought I had found my dress. Being a size 12-14, I was very self-conscious of my figure and thought that because a v-neck gown fit me (which is sometimes commonplace for women with curves), It must and had to be MY dress. But when I went to Reni's, My eyes were opened to a whole new beauty in wedding gowns. I showed Reni the picture of the dress from the other store and her response was candid and truthful, the dress did not fit my bodytype. It did not have a modest neckline and did not flatter me. I trusted her expertise and the opinion of people close to me who I trusted. Reni picked out a beautiful gown that fit my body so well! Tears came and I knew that I had found my dress! The beading was beautiful. I realized that I had truely underestimated how beautiful I could really look on my wedding day. Reni will offer you a genuine opinion. It is just an opinion and it is ultimately the bride's choice. Reni is a well grounded business owner and she is confident. I respect her business philosophy. She has 30 years experience, which I thought was a plus. She is honest about needing an appointment on Saturdays; They are very busy and it is in your best interest. There should be more people like her in the business realm. I would especially recommend any woman who has curves to try Reni's out! You will not regret it! I looked at most bridal stores in KC, OKC, and Wichita. Reni's had my dress. She listened to what I wanted; she did not try to fit my personality into whatever dresses she bought at market. Pros: Knowledgeable, Professional, Experienced Cons: Small Shop more

Had a fabulous experience. Reni had excellent advice on what each dress did for my body (or didn't do!). Her prices are fabulous and she is the most reputable bridal boutique in Wichita. Don't go to play around if you aren't serious about finding a bridal gown. This is a great store, with great variety. I've recommended Reni to every engaged friend since! more

This is the best bridal shop in Wichita! If you don't go to Reni's you really are missing out.!!!!My sister and cousin both purchased their dress from Reni's, and even though I was familar with the shop I still wanted to shop around. (It had been a few years since my sister was married so I wanted to check out some shops that had not been around when she was shopping.) Well....let me say that Reni's has the best dresses, and definately the best service in town. I really feel the need to respond to the person in a particular review..there is nothing wrong with a security lock on the door, it's a safety issue. Also....who checks for a website to see a stores hours etc...how about an old fashioned phone call to hear an actual voice on the other end?(Which was very helpful and freindly at Reni's) OH..and they looked at my ring too, and I don't think they have a motive to see what kind of dress you might buy..they are being nice! I beleive by asking when your wedding is it helps them determine if you have time to order. When I was in...a young lady came in who was heading to Vegas the next day and they found her a dress she could take with her that day.Well anyway my gown and bridesmaids were perfect, and Reni's helped me have a beautiful wedding!!!!! If you are shopping for a wedding gown, you owe it to yourself to make a trip to Reni's before you buy a gown. I will say they are VERY busy esp. on Saturday, so you should call ahead and make an appointment. (I figured it was a good thing that they were so busy.) However, they never made me feel rushed at all. I also liked the fact they are not pushy at all. Reni herself told me to ""sleep on it"" and make sure that was the dress I wanted since I did have plenty of time to order the gown.Their dresses are very good quality. One of my favorite things about Reni's is they are so nice and who would ever guess that a bridal shop would be so fun? I love Reni's, and will be reccomending them to everyone!!!!!! First, they have a security door...umm, a lil' scary. Second, I walked in and immediately they said ""we are appointment only."" News to me...how about you get a website with information!!! Third, they immediately wanted to 1) look at my engagement ring as if to judge my purchase by the size of my diamond and 2) ask me when my date was as if to say ""you have plenty of time and are not as important to us today."" Fourth, the ladies tried to convince me that the dress I was in search of did not exist b/c it was not listed in the 1988 Maggie Soterro catalog. I proceeded to tell them that it was on the designer website page 40. Unfortunately, they don't have the internet so they were unable to look it up. Hello....2008! Ok....ladies you are missing out if you don't shop at Reni's for your dress. Her staff is very helpful and they will bend over backwards to help you find the perfect dress. I went to several bridal shops including ones in Kansas city, and Reni's was the best by far! They will tell you what looks good on you...they are very honest. Thery are not rude just professional and like I said honest.I went to another shop (big name) and they just wanted to sell me anything. I went in on a Saturday, and even though they were very busy they still took lots of time with me and helped me find the perfect dress. I am small and petite and Reni ordered my dress and it came in the perfect length. I didn't need a hem or anything. I had heard stories about girls spending $300 to have their dress altered so I was worried about that. I'm from out of town, and heard about Reni's. I wasn't sure what to expect. I'm on a tight budget and needed to find a dress for under $800. I told Reni that and showed her what I liked. She brought out many dresses and told me to just give them a try. I found the PERFECT Maggie Dress for just a little over 600! Reni knows these dresses like the back of her hands! She may be blunt, but that's what I wanted when purchasing such an expensive dress! Her staff was GREAT! She was GREAT! She even gave us her home phone number if we had any problems! i live in russell and drove 2 hours to renis bridal and i beleive it was defintly WORTH IT! some may say she is a grumpy omen but really she is just german and voices her own opinion and its actually not a bad thing! she was the most helpful person and she helped make my day perfect. my dress was exttavagent and i also got ten bridesmaid dresses, 2 candlelighter dresses and a flower girl dress and everything came in on time, everything fit everyone perfect! they did an awsum job!!!! i even got my veil neckalce earings all my wedding stuff there from guestbooks to unitycandles, u name it!!! they were very helpful and i thank them much for helping me! if neone needs a good honest person to help them find a dress with reasonable prices reni is the person!! ive known 3 people to have gone there now from russell and not one person i know had any comlaints nor dislikes!! this women is amazing and you should defintly see her shop today!! you wont regret it!!! love nichole and cole Pros: DEFINLTY THUMBS UP! more

I had looked at 3 other shops in Wichita to look for my perfect dress and was feeling a bit discouraged with the service I was receiving. I thought I had found my dress at a different shop, but something told me that I should not order through them, because they weren't helpful and their sales people took the majority of the time talking about themselves. I just didn't trust them. So I made an appointment with Reni. When I walked in they had me look at books so she could see what I liked. She then told me she had a dress she wanted me to try on. I wasn't too excited with it when I saw it on the hanger, but I tried to keep an open mind. When I put it on, I fell in love! Reni knew that dress was right for me! She did allow me to try on dresses that I thought were the style I wanted, which were beautiful, but I kept going back to the one she picked. She and her staff have been very helpful and nice, and they had a huge selection. I'm so excited that I found her. I really wasn't wanting to give my money to a shop that didn't want to help. This is the best bridal shop around! I live out of state now (CO) and went all over the Denver area shopping. Let me tell you...the ladies at Reni's were so helpful and had a very nice selection of dresses.They showed me exactly what I was looking for and they were helpful not pushy at all! I am so glad that I came into Reni's to buy my gown. Forget the big name stores....they have a million of the same dress and they will fight over who has to help you! (that really happened to me) You will be love this store! It is small but they have all the latest styles and are are very very nice and helpful!! My sister was shopping for a wedding gown. She took me with her so I could give input on the dresses she tried. The greeting (if you call it that) at the door should have told us to turn around and walk away. After explaining to my sister that they had many dresses in her selected style, the salesperson only brought 3 dresses that fit my sisters style wish (Mermaid cut). They disregarded my sisters comments, told me that my opinion didn't matter since my sister was the one wearing the dress, and actually said rude things about the style of dress which my sister had picked out (which, by the way looks GREAT on her). I can't believe this woman is still in business. She and her sales people are pushy and rude, and don't care about what the bride wants at all. Cons: Everything more

I got my wedding dress from Reni's, I was measured wrong and when my dress came in it was 2 sizes to small. Also when my dress came in I wasn't notified. When I went to go and pick up my dress for the big day the girls came and carried the dress out of the bag and my husband was with me. Also I had a couple of pearls that came off my dress and they weren't sewed back on. The seamstress that was recommended was horrible she brought the shoulders up on my dress and didn't sew the back up all the way so it was frayed all through the back. Good thing the woman who sewed my bridesmaids dresses was at my wedding. I had to get sewn into my wedding dress. Horrible don't go there! more
