Renee's Bridal

The experience I had at Renee's was great at first, even tho Renee is VERY FAKE the girls that work for her are pleasant, tho at times very condescending. The aggravation came down to the communication, phone calls were NOT returned, timelines were NOT met - if you only need minor alterations done to your dress and can do them yourself Renee's will not steam your dress, it is an extra charge for that - i had bridesmaids out of town and a mother in law out of town -my mother in law bought her dress and paid extra to have it rush delivery we were told specific date on when a dress would arrive and planned events around that date to ensure the dress would be delivered in order for it to be tried on and altered as needed - the dress was not in and when I called about them I got the run around - and was told again it would be in by a certain time and it was a week later then that time - not one time was she or I offered a refund for the rush charge - weddings are stressful enough and having to worry about dresses coming in on time because lies are told and phone calls are not returned is very inconsiderate of Renee's. This place have beautiful dresses but unless you can order them about a year in advance or buy them right off the shelf the hassle is definitly not worth it. The employees, tho nice are being managed by a lady with horrible ethics and a very poor communication process. I had also ordered extra material to match the bridesmaid dresses for accent pieces in my wedding and was not called to pick it up when it came in, I had to call them a week after it was due and find out what the ETA was on it - I then learned it had been in and nobody could tell me why I wasnt called about it. - there are a couple other bridal shops around with just as nice dresses and much nicer people, I would definitly recommend one of them, had I known what I know now I would not have went to Renee's I will not refer any one to them and will try to discourage any one from using them Pros: large selection pretty dresses Cons: inconsiderate, lies, fake, not worth the money more

When I walked into Renee's about 3 months ago, I found 2 dresses that I liked very much. My associate wrote down the styles that I liked and assured me that when I returned a few months later, they would both still be available. When I went back, the owner of the store was ""helping"" me- she had no idea which dresses were the ones written down that I liked. My mother and I searched through the racks of clothing by ourselves looking for the dresses, and 30 minutes later the unhelpful owner told us that my favorite dress had been sold off the rack a month or two ago and another had not been ordered. She was very rude and did not offer to order another sample or find a similar dress. Then, she went to another part of the store and ignored us until (soonafter) we left. more
