my experience was above average. The initial contact with Jason was easy, & quick. I didn't have all day to talk on the phone to be told about this or that with my move and Jason was straight to the point, polite, knowledgeable, and fair. What else could I ask for? No matter the company I felt I was taking a risk after reading all the reviews online about all the companies. I do see the good out weigh the bad and I made my decision based off off real life experiences, and this is why I am writing this review based on my experience. I mean I don;t know much about what it takes to transport household item from state to state but I can tell you Jason Stokes does. My move went smoothly. I got a call from a Brian in dispatch confirming my move, and another 3 calls on move day from Brian and Jason. I got another call when they loaded my stuff, and again another call from the driver 2 days before delivery. I don;t know about anyone else but that is GREAT customer service. My price went up a little, I also brought a little more stuff than I anticipated. I didn't realize what I was bringing until I got into packing everything. I actually stopped and got them to finish the packing for me. All and all they moved me and it was pleasant. \r Thank you Remax more

Great salesman...Horrible experience. I was initially quoted by Jake to move my 2 bedroom apt from Ft Myers to Virginia for $1600.. I excepted this quote and I left for my new home. The day the movers arrived they told my contact person that my move was under quoted and instead of 475 cubic feet it was 700 cubic feet. After all my stuff was packed up the final bill was $3500.. YES $1600 turned into $3500!! and 900 cubic feet. After calling and complaining multiple times about this I talked to a pleasant supervisor that adjusted my price down $100...really $100. When the movers arrived 4 7 hours late after they asked me to accept delivery at 9:00pm at night, they showed up in a 26"" Penske truck. I was 1 of 3 loads on that truck. The movers informed me that my load was a bit smaller then the 1st and a little bigger then the 2nd. So, I went onto Penske's website and looked at the cubic feet capacity of that size truck.. 1400 cubic feet!!! How can that be? Mine was 900 cubic feet right? Some of my items were damaged as well. Needless to say I must be waiting for the ""rest"" of my stuff to arrive. I will give this company 1 last chance to refund the money that was STOLEN from me before I take legal actions against them and recoup my money and time. I wonder how many other people have been scammed. It is also funny that there is a post from the 17th of September that kind of describes my move with a great experience, I wonder if that was a coincidence or someone from there company writting reviews. I will update my experience and their response. more

When my friend Thomas told me about Remax van lines I did not waste any time to call them because I was looking for a good moving company that time. I took their number from him and called. I talked with their sales guy about my move and what I want etc. she offered me a very attractive package and later their movers did the rest. The Movers were actually fantastic during the entire move. The way they were handling my belongings, I thought for a moment that even I would not have been as caring as them. However at the end it was just a perfect move. It was within my budget and everything was done according to my requirements and without any errors. more

They came on time, wrapped and boxed all the stuffs and moved everything at the designated place within the allotted time and without a hitch. Remax van lines did a terrific job during our move to the new apartment. Movers played their part perfectly and the sales rep did his best to organize the entire move perfectly. Their hard work paid off for us. It was so organized and quick that none of us actually bothered to monitor the movers. They knew what they were up against and they were ready to take the odds. I have used several movers because I relocate a lot. But none came closer to Remax Van Lines. I used them just a week ago for a 3 bed room apartment move. When I called them my expectations were sky high because one of friends spoke very high about them. They performed as I expected. There was nothing that I could have asked for more. I’m not a very ‘in the moment’ person, so two weeks before the family had to move, I had everything arranged down to the last detail. Then guess what happened; the moving company cancelled the deal due to some internal issues! Panicking, I called my sister since she too had recently moved, and she recommended Remax Vanlines. I moved from Florida to Washington but the contract price was very much reasonable as compared to other moving companies downtown. My stuff were all wrapped up very nicely and secured. The moving team was just as careful as they were the real owners of my stuff. All of them neatly dressed and in uniform with all the identification to show proof of legitimate employment of the contacted mover. Boxes with glass materials were properly marked fragile and you could just feel the awesome care extended while doing their job. I’m very impressed.
