Just wanted to thank Regions Van lines and their crew for a great moving experience. We moved last minute locally and we were very stressed to find a compnay that will moe us last minute. We needed to make sure that we were picking the right company and not to compromise. Well we made a great choice they were a little late in the morning but let me tell you they work hard and fast. The quote was hourly we need a 5 man crew since we were moving from a 4 bedroom into a 5 bedroom house. We paid $199 an hour but it was worth every penny. These guys sure know what they were doing. We did not think that every thing would get done in the same day but it sure did. They wrapped and boxed things up that were needed last minute but did not stretch time at all. My overall experience was great with Regions the first time and the second. I am a retunign customer. I used Regions Van lines to move from NYC to FL and now back to my home town. I was referred by a friend that had used them previously more then once. They took a list of my furniture over the phone as I was in NY at the time and could not have anyone come out to do an on-site. No matter what I gave alist they gave me a reasonable price. It was a little higher then some other quotes that I had received just by doing research but I really preferred to pay a little more knowing that I will get Excellent service. They did arrive on time on pick-up and the items left FL right away and I received my shipment a few days later. No damamges and nothing missing. Amazing crew very professional in wrapping my furniture and recommending that certain things needed to be packed better to assure that they arrive in one piece. We moved several times in the past few years and we used many different moving services from mama and pops to the larger Van lines. This was a bigger serious long distance movefrom FL To WA. To our surprise Regions Van lines were outstanding they exceeded our expectations by doing more then what we expected. The workers all were dressed in uniformed shirts clean cut but ready to work hard. Wow what an amazing team they were fast and efficient. Above and beyond what we ever experienced. I hired Regions to move me from FL to Vegas. Thanks regions for a great moving experience. After hearing so many stories and reading different reviews the sales team at regions van lines went over all the details thoroughly . They did have a few bad reviews as well but I understand that it is not always possible to satisfy everyone and made sure to ask about them. (I did a lot of research and it seemed to me that almost every company that called me had something). Moving is not simple especially if you are going cross country. We were given detailed information on what the process is to assure that everything will go as smooth as possible. I spoke to Wendy she was very delightful and sweet on the phone and made me feel comfortable. We hired Regions Van lines to move us on 10/19/2011 from Fort Lauderdale to Kentucky. Chaya was my representative. I started looking for a moving company locally based here in my area. Eventually I had found a site that I put my info on to receive a free estimate. Wow Oh Wow did it become overwhelming as my phone just went off the hook. Not realizing that I put my Info on a Leads source that sells the moving info to several companies. My phone did not stop ringing even until today I still received calls from companies. After speaking with a few different companies I had decided that I am going to use Regions Van lines since they have been in business for quite a while and have good references ,the representative ( CHAYA) helped make me feel very comfortable over the phone assuring that I will be satisfied that everything will go smoothly . The movers arrived on time. They were very courteous and professional. They wrapped all of the necessary items, they also advise me of all additional charges I may have had at that time. They told me that if I take up more space then what was on my order for service that I will be charged additional. We also requested a quick delivery but Chaya told us that they cannot guarantee that there is a delivery time frame that we must go by and that the maximum time that is allowed. My husband And I were very pleased with the way that they had handled all our personal belongings. We definitely would use this service again. They are not local. They are brokers they take your deposit and run. real movers never take deposits real movers do on site estimates. They are well known scam artist please stay away. Pick 3 local companies make all 3 come and take a look at it and choose the one you are most comfortable with. more

I recently moved from Aventura Fl To California and hired regions to do my move. At first cannot say that I was skeptical as I have heard to many horror stories and even read some bad reviews but needed to weigh that Out. My representative and her manager made me feel very comfortable that I was making the right decision. I had the estimator come to see what I had. Miguel was AMAZING he was very polite, and explained everything in detail. If anything I chose Regions Van lines because of the estimator and the sales team that put all effort into gaining my business and reassuring me that everything will be ok. The drivers arrived a little later than what was expected. But the moment that they started to wrap and pack up my home I had forgotten that they arrived late. Where as that time it di not make a difference to me. I was given a Flat rate that was guaranteed based on what miguel saw when he came to my house. The only disfference was that I needed them to do additional packing for me so they charged me right on the spot. I am so glad that they had materials with them to help me finish up as I was so worried that I would not get everything done. I see some of the review on here being very harsh and really not the experience that I had. My items arrived to me within a reasonable amount of time and had no major damage at all. Other then a few items that were in boxes that I had packed. Dominique and his crew worked real hard to protect all my pieces of furniture, I have never seen in all the times that I have moved my furniture wrapped with such amazing care. Thanks again to all the hard working staff at Regions for making my move a good experience and not a horror story like I have read that happens in this industry. I HIRED REGIONS VANLINES TO MOVE ME FROM FLORIDA TO COLORODO. THEY WERE ON TIME IN PICKING UP MY GOODS. THE DRIVER DOMINIQUE WAS VERY POLITE AND EFFICIENT IN LETTING ME KNOW WHAT EXACTLY IS SUPPOSE TO TAKE PLACE. HE WENT THROUGH THE HOUSE WITH ME AGAIN EVEN THOUGH WE HAD A ESTIMATOR COME OUT HIS NAME WAS MIGUEL HE DID A GREAT JOB THE DRIVER STILL DID A WALK THROUGH WITH ME ASKING ME WHAT I AM TAKING AND WHAT WILL BE STAYING TO MAKE SURE TO STICK TO TH PRICE QUOTED. HE DID ALSO RECOMMEND FROM A PROFFESIONAL EYE THAT SOME OF THE ITEMS SHOULD BE PACKED PROFESSIONALLY TO MAKE SURE THAT THEY ARRIVE UNDAMAGED. I TOOK THIS IS VERY PROFESSIONAL. I ALSO HAD PACKED SOME OF MY BOXES ON MY OWN AND THE DRIVER MENTIONED THAT IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THEY WILL NOT ARRIVE IN THE BEST CONDITION BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT NEW BOXES AND THE BEST QUALITY BUT I TOLD HIM NO PROBLEM TAKE THEM ANYWAY. THEY WERE NOT ONLY VERY QUICK BUT I HAVE NEVER IN THE MANY TIMES I HAVE MOVES SEEN MOVERS WRAP FURNITURE THE WAY THAT THEY DID. I CAN HONESTLY SAY THE GUYS CARED ABOUT MY ITEMS AND THE WAY THAT THEY HANDLED THEM. MY REPRESENTATIVE GAV ME ALL THE DETAILS IN REGARDS TO DELIVERY AND EXPLAINED TO ME REASONS THAT MADE SENSE FOR DELAYS. BECAUSE WENDY EXPLAINED THIS ALL SO DETAILED I UNDERSTOOD THAT THEY MIGHT TAKE ALITTLE LONGER BUT IT WAS OK. MY SHIPMENT ARRIVED WITHIN THE TIME FRAME THAT THEY HAD GIVEN ME. AS PER DAMAGES THE BOXES THAT I HAD PACKED WERE NOT IN THE BEST CONDITION BUT I WAS AWARE THAT THIS COULD HAPPEN BECAUSE I WAS INFORMED IN THE BEGINNING OF THE MOVE. REGIONS VAN LINES IS A VERY REPUTABLE COMPNAY I WAS REFERRED BY A FRIEND THAT USED THEM SEVERAL TIMES AND I WOULD DEFINITELY NO DOUBT RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS. THANKS GUYS FOR A JOB WELL DONE. NOT SOME, BUT ALL OF MY BOXES WERE OPEN AND THE TAPE THAT WAS HOLDING THE BOXES TOGETHER WAS VISIBLY TORN AND PULLED OFF THE BOXES. SOME ITEMS WERE MISSING AND NO-ONE CAN EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT HAPPENED TO MY THINGS. \r \r I SWEAR I JUST WANTED TO STAND THERE AND CRY, OR SCREAM, OR SOMETHING. THIS IS THE WORST FEELING IN THE WORLD TO FEEL BETRAYED BY A COMPANY WHO SEEMS TO ONLY BE CONCERNED ABOUT MAKING MONEY AND TO HELL WITH THE CUSTOMERS AND WHAT THEY GO THRU WHEN THINGS GO WRONG BECAUSE OF THE MISCOMMUNICATION AND MISHANDLING OF THE CUSTOMERS THINGS. \r \r THIS COMPANY IS THE WORST I'VE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH. I HAD TO CALL NUMEROUS TIMES TO GET INFORMATION ABOUT THE STATUS AND DELIVERY OF MY SHIPMENT.\r \r WHEN I FIRST APPROACHED REGIONS ABOUT SHIPPING MY THINGS, I FELT LIKE THE STAR OF THEIR SHOW, AFTER COMPLAINING ABOUT THE 3 DIFFERENT DELIVERY DATES, HAVING TO TAKE TIME OFF FROM WORK, THEY STARTED AVOIDING MY CALLS AND IGNORING MY MANY MESSEGES I HAD LEFT VIA VM. THESE PEOPLE ARE RUDE, THEY SHOULDN'T BE IN THE BUSINESS AND I FEEL LIKE I'VE BEEN JERKED AROUND BY EVERY ONE THERE. I SPECIFICALLY ASKED IF MY THINGS WOULD BE HANDLED BY ANY OTHER CARRIER/SUB-CONTRACTOR AND THEY ASSURED ME THEY WOULDN'T EXCHANGE HANDS WITH OTHER COMPANIES. Furniture picked up in Miami on Sept. 29 with delivery guaranteed (for an extra payment) in Los Angeles Oct. 7. Now I find they didn't even hand off the furniture to their cross-country carrier until Oct. 6! And I won't get my stuff until Oct. 15, at the earliest. And guess what, I had to ferret out the name of the company they handed off to and call the driver to learn that. Regions couldn't tell me. Poor communication, poor management, poor service. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I contacted RVL rep Anne G in May regarding an upcoming move from FL to SF that was to take place on June 29. I got a written estimate for at $6.39 per cubic foot. However, I was told that RVL would match the price of a competitor; I got a rate of $4.00 per cubic foot from another company and forwarded that to Anne. She said that RVL would not honor the price match because the other company was ""not reputable"". The second initial problem occurred b/c I had scheduled June 29th but on two separate occasions on which I contacted RVL, they had it scheduled for June 28th. The third problem was that on the moving day, after everything was tallied, the final price ended up at more than $3200, significantly more than double the estimated price. I got to SF and called and emailed RVL on July 7 and requested shipment. The rep referred me to both Danny G, the Ops Mgr, and the delivery department, where I left emails/VM's Two days later I had not gotten one response. I called again, left VM's, left emails for both Anne and Danny, and again no response. I tried to call multiple times to speak to an actual person, but every time it automatically sent me to VM. Around 4 days after my initial communication, I spoke with a customer service person who informed me that RVL was moving offices and that she would personally see to it that my shipment would be scheduled and I would hear back asap- again, I got no response. At this point (7 days past initial communication) I was becoming infuriated and began to research legal options. I notified Anne and Danny of this and voila, I got a response from Anne immediately saying she would take care of it. First, moving offices should not hinder communications so severely that personnel cannot contact customers. Second, I spoke directly with people at RVL who promised to circumvent the supposed communications issues, to no avail. Lastly, it's pretty clear that communications were working just fine for someone to respond immediately to the potential for a legal issue - there's clearly a bigger underlying issue here. I got the first response from Anne (yet still nothing from Danny) and told her July 15 given that I was out of town until then. She responded that July 15 is now the ""start the clock"" day after, per RVL's service agreement I should receive shipment within 14 days. I told her that this was unacceptable given that I was ready on July 7 and notified RVL. July 20: 13 days since my initial attempts at scheduling delivery. It had been 5 days since the ""start the clock"". Yet I had heard nothing from customer service (despite leaving VM's and getting promises from multiple RVL personnel to speak with them), from management (despite an in-writing promise to contact me within 72 hrs of ""start the clock"", as well as many emails and VM's), and had zero communication regarding the status of my delivery. I went online and wrote negative reviews online about RVL, submitted an official complaint to the BBB, and sent a certified letter to RVL. I paid and notified Alan of the final state of things and told him that it was RVL's turn to meet their end of the NEVER USE REGIONS VAN LINES!!! WORST MOVE OF OUR LIFE WITH REGIONS VAN NOT so with Regions Van Lines. We received quotes more

I used these guys to move from a high-rise in the Mid-Town area to a 1st floor 'walk-up' in Coconut Grove. This was the first time i used movers in Miami. I had called and gotten quotes from several different companies, almost everyone's hourly rate is the same. I opted for this company because they were very explicit in what the fees entail, when the clock starts, any extra charges that might incur (tape, boxes), and were pretty straight forward. I had some fragile items such as my TV and computer stuff but mostly a lot of boxes and big/heavy furniture. They showed up around 9:30 am (scheduled between 9 and 10 am) and moved my stuff in record time, coming in just under the 2 hour minimum. And they hustled I mean, really hustled but still were very careful. I do recommend them and suggest getting scheduled as the 1st move of the day. \r .You do get a very thorough receipt, if you're concerned about being scammed.\r Chaya was my contact and she was very straight-forward, to the point, and didn't waste time with any bs or upsales. Just wanted to write few word regarding my moving experience with Regions. I was very hesitant to use a moving service after hearing so many stories but after this experience I can definitely say that not all movers are bad and unfair. I received a visual estimate at my home in Hallandale FL I was moving to Las Vegas NV the estimator arrived on my schedule time on time. Then he took all the time in the world to go over the moving process and what will happen on move date. 1. walked me through the house and took a detailed List of what I was plannig to take. The experience, gave me a different prospective on the breakdown of cost. I would defintely recommend to have someone come out and do a visual this way your price with stay as is. I was quoted $5267 Including packing of particular items such as china ,etc and tv's etc.... I was so please with the driver Dominique and his crew of man as they made me feel very comfortable on day of the move. The work was done so efficient, quick and they worked hard but you can tell that they do things from their heart. My price was adjusted as per what was necessary and I was aware of it since I did add a few items last minute. Anyway they did a great job. I received my delivery in a resonable timely manner. With no issues or problems with any of my items. From the china boxes to the tv's was all wrapped to the T. I would you this company over and over again and I would definitely recommend . This moving company was great! Beside a normal compliment of house hold items and furniture, we have two specialty items, a Yamaha Baby Grand Piano and an 8 foot pool table. The piano is big and heavy but comes apart easily and these movers obviously knew what they were doing. All pieces were blanketed and moved carefully. I moved from Miami FL to Orlando area move was fast and professional would definitely use again. The drivers were very professional SAM did a great job he was very pleasant to work with and the boys that were with him were very courteous. I filled out an inquiry on line for my move from FL to NY and was very overwhelmed by all the phone calls and emails that I received. It was very funny how I had put that I was moving a 2-3 bedroom house and I received estimates that did not make sense at all. Some were less than $1000.000. I have moved many times in the past and at this point I know not to go with a company that does not speak with me and take a list of what I am moving with me. From the sales rep to the dispatch everything went so smooth. I had the estimator come over and give me a Flat price based on what I have which is always the way to go if you can. They gave me a a price that was resonable in my budget and that price was the price that I paid other than the additional packing materials that i paid for at the last minute because I requested them to pack a few items last minute as I changed my mind. The option was given to me on the day of the on site but I thought that I would do it by myself. Regions Van Lines Did an excellent Job with all my items from the moment they picked me up to the moment I receiived my delivery. The WORST MOVING COMPANY EVER - they should be in prison for what they do. A bunch of liars, careless people who don't know how to handle an item such as a Plasma television - and before the move, they told us they do this every day and I have nothing to worry. My 49 boxes and a Plasma television took more than 3 weeks to arrive. And they arrived several hours late, in to the night when it was dark to deliver our things. Most boxes were crushed including the 9 boxes they packed for me with sensitive electronics. Worst of all, they broke our Plasma television. When I called Danny to first report the damage, he said ""you are blaming us for something that was always there"". I was shocked because they packed the television and they would have known if it was already broken. It was an almost new TV with not even a little scratch! Upon delivery, there were several dents behind the television and the plasma panel had several cracks. We got a Panasonic authorized service person to assess the damage, and he wrote a report saying the television was ""dropped and mishandled"". Some of my items went missing too. I ignored the smaller missing items for the time being just so we can focus on the largest damage, the Plasma television when I dealt with Regions Van Lines. We diligently spent several hours gathering documents and submitted the claim. After several days of waiting, the Claims department got back to us. They repeatedly accused us for the damage saying we declined when the movers offered to unpack so they couldn't establish that the damage happened in transit. To set the records straight, they NEVER offered to unpack anything for us. They didn't even want to bring it up to the apartment. We begged them to bring the TV to the apartment and they did. But they were in a hurry to leave and never offered to unpack. Are they suggesting that the TV did not break when it was transferred from Boca Raton to Los Angeles but actually happened when we removed the card-board and bubble wrap off of the TV? Are they a bunch of morons to think that? Pllleeease, give me a break! The claims department offered us $146.26 for a 58"" Panasonic Plasma TV worth $2070 and said that if accept the $146.26, we couldn't write anything bad about them. We told them to keep our $146.26 so that we can write honest reviews online and protect other consumers. I would NOT do business with them. I would NOT recommend them to anyone. Please save not only your valuables but also save yourself extreme emotional stress by avoiding this company. I went through hell dealing with them! Oh, when they picked up my stuff, they tried to over-charge me by about $200 over the estimate and thankfully, I caught them and straightened that out. I regret doing business with them not only for the financial loss we had to deal with but all the emotional stress we had to go through, and the insult that Danny and the claims department had put us through. Hope they FALTER and FAIL so no one else goes through the pain what we went through. more

We were happy with the service provided by Regions Van Lines. The 3 man crew took good care of our things and worked quickly. The only glitch was they arrived 2 hours later then we were scheduled but between the dispatcher and the driver we got updates. Other than that we were pleased with their service. We would also recommend calling the office for updates as the schedule might change throughout the day. We would use this moving company again as the crew showed concern for what they move. more
