Friendly atmosphere 4/11/2006

I hav been with AmSouth bank at the downtown brach since 1998 and they have been nothing but helpful. Of course, I have run into a few snags along the way, and they were my fault, but the managers and representatives were always there to give me assistance and advice. When I walk in, they know me by name. One of the managers switched to another location a couple of months back...I went to that location on my way home the other day and she actually remembered me and called me by name. She asked about life and how everything was going. I really like dealing with this bank. more

Customer Service Stinks! 10/21/2005

My husband and I received $200 worth of NSF fees and we went to this branch and then another. NO manager would see us. Though in the end these fees may be my fault, I would still like to speak to someone about them. I had to call the 1-800 number to just get answers. We've decided that after six months with them, we are going to switch back to our original bank. We're sorry we left and tried someone new. more
