Sure, they have other plants besides roses, but nobody goes there for that. At Regan's, it's all about the roses. They've got hundreds upon hundreds of different varieties--so many you'll be tempted to tear out your garden and plant the whole thing with roses (don't, or it'll be a bare, brown winter for you!) more

The Regan Nursury is pretty much an outdoor store with a lot of plants to choose from. They have everything from roses to trees. I was particularly impressed with their selection of roses which include roses bushes, plants, and trees. We could spent a good hour or so there just walking through the greenhouse. The inside is pretty much just a trailer but houses a cat and a number of cute little trinkets and decorative items. more

Regan's Nursery in Fremont California is an amazing resource for the home gardener. Besides having a vast array of plants, they also offer garden decor, furniture, and landscaping advice. But best of all, when you walk in with your pest infested plant, they are more than happy to take the time to evaluate the sad item and give advice as to what would be best for treating the problem. They offer many options for planting your garden also. Everything from seeds to 50 gallon trees. My husband and I have been buying from them for over 25 years now and always feel confident in our purchases. We have an amazing orange tree that suddenly was covered with black tarry stuff. Friends offered many reasons for this - my favorite was air pollution. In taking a leaf to Regan's they were able to tell us it was a bug sucking the life out of our orange and essentially leaving his offering for us on our oranges. We sprayed with the recommended spray and are enjoying wonderful, juicy oranges! more

I heard about Regan's Nursery through a friend who could not stop tallking about the gorgeous flowers and how I had to treat myself to beautifying my own small rose garden. The staff at Regan's certainly come off as flower experts and will show you around while rattling off all sorts of facts about the species and care requirement. They have been in business since 1958, so it is nice to know that they have been around for a long time. They offer a newsletter, also. more

This nursery is probably the best stocked nursery in the bay area. At least, the best stocked, most organized, with the best selection or plants nursery that I've visited in the bay area. The plants are healthy, the staff is friendly and helpful, and it's in a setting that makes locating any item much easier than other nurseries. They have a great selection of antique roses and other unusual plants and garden accessories. more
