I discovered Red Snapper Inn many years ago and have often brought back guests. I have yet to be dissapointed in the food or service. Consistantly excellent food but their fried fried is among the best. Seafood is their specialty but yes, they do have a limited amount of other items. It is not a fancy place so don't get too excited but it does have character and an excellent wine selection more

We had a family lunch here on Sunday ... 7 people...service was attentive and prompt...the seafood was excellent ...we ordered flounder And oysters ...shrimp...\r All delicious and fresh tasting .. A Greek influence which we love...it's not a fancy place...just a great place to eat ! more

Even though weve heard some negative things about this place we decided to see for ourselves. The place is very inviting. We sat down and our waitress(teri) was all smiles. She made.us feel like we knew eachother. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and suggested the nights special. Delicious! !! She didn't rush us even though it was obvious she was busy. She made us feel like her only table. GOOD FOOD&SERVICE!!! As long we get the same waitress we ll keep coming back. more

If you're looking for good seafood and not one of those chains that all taste the same, this is the place to go. It is worth the drive from all around and a nice scenic evening drive from Galveston. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. I could have ate every meal there while in Freeport. One of my favorite dishes is grilled red snapper smothered in a shrimp alfredo sauce. Heavenly! more
