AVOID THIS PLACE 5/9/2011

Giving this place even one star hurts me! We went to dinner and Miles our ""waiter"" was very rude and obviously not a fan of kids. Three items we ordered we were told they were out of. Electra is very unprofessional. They need to kick this staff out and go back to the people that worked there previously. We have been going here for two years and have not had a bad experience until lately. Will not go back until I hear Miles and Electra are gone! more

WORST SERVICE AND FOOD! 12/3/2010

Boy, they must be writing these reviews, because I've never experienced such rude, nasty service. ""Miles"" was in rare form. Waited 25 minutes for our meal while he chatted with the only other table in the restaurant. When we asked if it was coming soon, he said very rudely, ""why didn't you tell me you were in a hurry?"" and a few other choice comments. There were only two of us and we ordered the ""special"". Not special at all, just inedible, gristly, fat steak. On top of the rude behavior, the bad food was so disappointing. I'm sure there are other nice places to dine in Morrison. Do yourself a favor and try them. more

Great service 12/28/2009

first time in red rocks grill we did some asking around and had heard this was a great place for mexican food, sadly it was under seasoned very bland. the appitizers were awsome as was our sons burgers. kind of pricey but huge portions. we will probably try it one more time and have burgers but the mexican food left alot of room for flavor. just a little fyi tell the bartender to pull up his pants or buy a belt. Pros: wonderful service Cons: bland food more

Great food, great atmosphere 3/13/2009

Friendly waitstaff, big portions of good food, a good bar with microbrews and a great combination of locals and visitors make it a unique experience. If you are as tired as I am of chain restaurants, and want something more authentic, give them a try! Pros: Mexican food and BIG margaritas Cons: Too popular - more

Fabulous Breakfast and Bloody Marys 5/18/2007

The perfect place for that pre-ride breakfast! Great chicken-fried steak and eggs. However, I did not like the green chili. The bartender, Eric, is fantastic and his Bloody Marys are to die for. We go on Sunday mornings and the place is packed by 10 am. Bikers and locals love it. Kids are ok but it is not the Village Inn. Pros: Fun, lively atmosphere--friendly service. Parking can be a challenge. Cons: I did not like the green chili. more

Going to a concert at Red Rocks? Skip this place. 7/31/2006

The last 2 reviews were from 2002, and apparently things have changed a lot. The menu is nothing spectacular, but it appears to be over the head of the cooking staff. I had the NY Sirloin steak. The meat quality was not bad, but not good either. The complete lack of seasoning was apparent from the first taste. This theme was to be repeated. My waitperson asked me about my choice of potato, and I selected the baked potato. He didn't ask me how I wanted it so I just assumed the trimmings would all be on the side. Instead, I got a potato loaded with not just butter, but sour cream, bacon, and cheese. This would be fine if I like it that way, but this is not what I asked for, or was asked about. The steak came with steamed vegatables, but it looked like the veggies came straight out of a bag of frozen veggies. They were mushy and pale and consisted of the typical frozen 'California Medley'. Again, no attempt at seasoning, no butter to accompany the veggies, not other seasoning or sauce. The salad was basic, but acceptable. Pros: Convenient to Red Rocks, moderate pricing Cons: Bland food more
