Review content:
The last 2 reviews were from 2002, and apparently things have changed a lot. The menu is nothing spectacular, but it appears to be over the head of the cooking staff. I had the NY Sirloin steak. The meat quality was not bad, but not good either. The complete lack of seasoning was apparent from the first taste. This theme was to be repeated. My waitperson asked me about my choice of potato, and I selected the baked potato. He didn't ask me how I wanted it so I just assumed the trimmings would all be on the side. Instead, I got a potato loaded with not just butter, but sour cream, bacon, and cheese. This would be fine if I like it that way, but this is not what I asked for, or was asked about. The steak came with steamed vegatables, but it looked like the veggies came straight out of a bag of frozen veggies. They were mushy and pale and consisted of the typical frozen 'California Medley'. Again, no attempt at seasoning, no butter to accompany the veggies, not other seasoning or sauce. The salad was basic, but acceptable.
Pros: Convenient to Red Rocks, moderate pricing
Cons: Bland food
