There are so many roofing companies but we chose to go with Red River Roofing because they are a long established business with a good reputation and most of all a local office. No fear of being unable to contact them if needed. Highly recommend our account manager, Matt Parks, who patiently walked us through the insurance claim process, thoroughly explained our new roofing system to us and answered any question we had. The installation crew arrived at sunrise and stayed until sundown in order to complete our roof in one day which meant less interruption for us. We've been in process with a house remodeling that has dragged on for many months. Perhaps our recent exposure to an array of contractors has sensitized us to how things can go badly (though, honestly, in the case of the remodel, I take a lot of the blame for poor progress). Recently, we had the roof replaced on our house. We used Red River Roofing company for the job. This is the second roof they have put on our house. With their recommendation, we upgraded to a better underlayment of GAF/Tiger Paw and the leak barrier, GAF/Weather watch under the valley and around the penetrations, including the chimney and the wall on the east side of the house. Please make a note in our file about the improvement we made in the underlayment of the roof. Due to recent hail storm damage, our shake shingle roof needed to be replaced. Red River Roofing was 1 of 4 roofing companies we contacted for estimates. Although they were not the cheapest, Red River Roofing was the most thorough and professional. Our options were explained to us in detail and every question was answered. Our new roof was installed in a timely fashion by a crew of expert roofers and the clean-up couldn't have been better! After the storm that came through Norman left, I contacted by insurance company and they gave me a few roofing contractors to contact. I talked to each of them and that included Red River. What I found was your company was the only one that had any knowledge of the ventilation system I was talking about. Not only did the others not know they did their best to convince me all I needed were a few low profile vents and a ridge vent. When I questioned them about my interpretation of proper ventilation they said their system was adequate. I pushed the issue stating proper air circulation as I understand it comes in from the lower eave and escapes from the ridge vent and the only way other than creating closed soffits with vent screens installed was to cut a strip in the decking past the interior wall a few feet up and install something similar to a ridge vent.
