The Red Parlour is the place to go to get a tattoo... We found them on the internet and we couldn't be happier.. They did a very beautiful portrait of my fiance' s mom.. The artist took his time and made it just right.. The shop has a zen kind of feeling so its also very comfortable.. My fiance even fell asleep for few minutes while he was being tattooed.. The artists are very friendly.. Check this shop out if you want to get a great tattoo.. We are definitely going to use The Red Parlour from now on.. We drove in from Jersey and it was definitely worth the trip... more

If you are looking for a tattoo, then The Red Parlour is the place to go! Iâ??m coming up on 10 years as a customer and the service has been paramount since day one. Iâ??ve had tattoos from other shops, but ever since a friend recommended The Red Parlour, I knew I had found my place. Redd, Tim and Powder are some of the nicest people you could ever know. They are always courteous and extremely professional. I think of them as friends. I moved two hours from Queens and this shop is still my go to place. I wonâ??t consider going anywhere else because I know it is worth the trip.\r \r For anyone sitting on the fence about getting their first tattoo or for anyone looking for a new tattoo home, I hope this recommendation helps seal the deal for you! more

I found the red parlour online and I reviewed their work I was very impressed with what they can do to make a tattoo come alive.\r \r After reviewing the site I went in to check them out.\r \r I had a drawing I did but it need to be tweaked I also wasn't sure where to get it on my body.\r \r Being no new comer to getting tattoos I knew I needed the advise of an artist.\r \r I spoke with Redd he told me to give him a few days. When I returned later that week. My design was now perfect sharp reworked & repositioned to run along my ribs.\r \r I rate The Red Parlour Tattoo 5 stars based upon the following:\r \r 1) The tattoo work I had done there far surpasses the rest of the tattoo shops that I have been to.\r \r 3) The shop very cool and always clean and spotless.\r \r 4) You are given an appointment where you are attend to as a client. \r \r 5) They advise you in what really will look best as the finished tattoo. \r \r I to like so many other reviewers are now hooked on The Red Parlour I wouldn't even think of going anywhere else now.\r \r These people are the Tattoo industry and have been for many years from what I understand. I been going to the Red Parlour for 10 years. Red and his team has done excellent work. Their art work is amazing. Red, Powder, and Tim are the only ones in my lifetime to place a tattoo on me. This place is great! I was tattooed by Tim, and he did such a great job! I got a Celtic lion on my forearm. The tattoo is very detailed, and there are so many ways in which it could have gone wrong, but it turned out better than I ever could have imagined. I get compliments from strangers often on this tattoo. Someone recently told me that it was the most detailed tattoo that they had ever seen! I love it so much, I find myself staring at it from time to time. Definitely go see Tim! I know I will be back! :) more

Holler for Red Parlour 3/12/2011

If you want to get any piercings or any tattoos, this is the BEST place to go. I got my navel piercing and tattoo done here, both by Powder, who is SO NICE and PROFESSIONAL. I went in today to get my industrial piercing and as expected, she did it with ease and gave me advice on how to take care of it. I even came 25 minutes earlier than I was supposed to and I didn't even have to wait for more than 10 minutes. Everyone here is polite, professional & friendly. That's what I love the most about this place--the atmosphere. Especially if it's your first time getting anything done, they make you feel comfortable and they're just full of positive vibes. It's so difficult to find friendliness & professionalism & TALENT all in one place and for a great price. The Red Parlour is truly a NYC gem and if you're looking for a place to get a tattoo or a piercing, you should do yourself a favor and just go here. Seriously, do it. more

They amazed us again !! 7/22/2010

Well, they perform magic again !! My husband and I keep getting hooked to coming back, not only to get inked but to also see what designs they have in store for us ! We walked in and my husband is working his arm slowly into a sleeve and we come in with basic ideas, mostly foundation ideas but Powder transforms them into beautiful works of art. She is not only intelligent mental-wise....as all women are lol....but also performance-wise ! We were so impressed by this snake over a skull design, filled with the appropriate details and lines. In fact he is being stopped by strangers and other artists just to see it !! I think he loves the attention LOL Thank you Red Parlour, u know we will be coming back soon ! Red Parlour is da bomb! 6/11/2010

So I'm no stranger to the needle - ink or piercings. I've had stuff done by friends and stuff done in shops and like all great relationships, it has taken a good amount of time to find the perfect match.\r The fault is mine, I've grown up in this neighborhood, I've been walking by the place numerous times for years, always said I gotta go in there but never did for one reason or another. I got the itch for new ink about a month ago and being of a discriminating palate I didn't want just any old Avenue A gutter punk doing my work. - tired and fed up of unfriendly, cold, ""what the deuce are you doing in here"" kind of attitude (not to ME of course, I've just witnessed it over and over)\r Finally decided to look into Red Parlour seeing that they're blocks from my home - never even read all of these great reviews - had a consultation with Redd and from the moment I walked into the place, only felt the best energy coming from the place and its people.\r Powder, you have the hands of an angel. I told you last night I've never been inked by a chick, now I know what I've been missing. Kudos go to your female insight and artistic touch. I don't think I can ever go to anyone else ever again. I'm tellin' all my peeps to come see you. Thanks to you and Redd for being so awesome. Red Parlour - My 2nd home 6/9/2010

A few years ago I got a nasty ""mcdonald's parlour"" tattoo. I regretted the piece from the moment I did it. I decided to check out my local spot, literally down the block from my apartment. A hidden gem. I went there, I worked with Powder and Red, and we came up with an awesome scroll to pretty up my yucky chinese lettering, now it looks mad cool. Today I went to do a dog tag tattoo, Powder designed a really cool skin tearing look to it and hooked it up. Next I'm working on some awesome samoan quarter sleeve tribal. I can't wait. If you are looking to get art work done, check these guys out, they are super nice, super patient and will help you design an awesome personal tattoo.. Thanks Powder!!!!!! I been a customer of the Red Parlour for about three years now. My first tattoo was done by Tim, i think he does an amazing job!!! Powder is great too wiht tattoos and piercing. The store has a wide variaty of tattoo designs and jewerly. I have three tattoos now and each time they do a fantastic work. The are very hygienic with their equipment, unlike some other places I visited before making my desicion to have a tattoo done. \r \r Guys thanks for everything and i will see you for my next tattoo.\r \r \r more

1ST TIMER!! AWESOME PLACE TO GET AWESOME TATTOOS!!! 8/1/2009

so my friend has been going to The Red Parlour for quite some time now, and i thought it was time to get my first tattoo. We emailed Redd and he was very friendly allowing us to come in one evening to discuss what i wanted and to set up the appointment. i felt so comfortable there, i decided to get my nose pierced that same day. Powder did my piercing and for my first facial peircing, she made me feel quite comfortable. it was fast, painless and healed very quickly. my tattoo artist was Tim and he was really excited to get started on my first piece. Red, Tim and Powder are so enthusiastic about making their customers happy, it really makes the tattooing experience so much easier. i had to go in for 3 sessions to finish up my piece. the whole tattoo took no longer than a month and a half and they didnt make me wait too long between appointments. each time i came in for my appointments, i was greeted by Redd and all my anxiousness and nervousness i felt went away with just some small chit chat. The parlour is very clean. Tim took me into the back, opened up all the sterile packaging in front of me and always made sure i was comfortable before starting any work on me. \r \r After the completion of every session, my tattoo healed quickly and i have gotten nothing but compliments on it. i just got the last session done last week and ive never been happier. i cant stop looking at it in the mirror. the cost was reasonable and is worth it for the work you get. Tim is like a tattoo God! haha. i love the Red Parlour so much, im going back in 2 weeks to book my next tattoo. these guys really make you feel at home. they give you honest opinions and work with what you want. \r i left my last session with the cheesiest smile on my face and just couldnt stop thinking about my next one\r \r thank you for giving me a great experience with my first tattoo and many more to come.
