This restaurant is awesome. My wife is vegan and I am doing a wheat, dairy elimination diet. Our waiter Ruben was very helpful to us when we were looking for suitable meals on the menu. They even had a flat bread made from rice and lentils called dosa that was delicious dipped in different sauces. my wife had the chana masala and I the murghara. Both dishes were delicious. The staff was very pleasant. they also have a buffet that seemed to be very popular. An overall excellent experience. more

Wow! From the Oakland Food Blogger Himself 4/21/2008

Rangoli is the only Indian restaurant I've ever ate at and they have set the standard very high! I've done many lunches there and my day is always made during and after. I always get the buffet lunch and there is an excellent selection of entrees (lamb, chicken, vegetarian, etc.) Pros: The food, the buffet, the staff, the interior comfort Cons: No cons whatsoever more

This is hands down my favorite indian food Restaurant. They have lots to choice from, and if you dont like what they have on the menu, the chef will custom make whatever you want. if you like indian food you must try this place. more

great service, great people, great great food.... buffet is like heaven.... can't go wrong with anything... my favorite is chicken tikka masala with garlic naan bread and a chickoo shake. take out meals are enormous too. will feed you for two days. enjoy! Pros: everything Cons: nothing more
