The best New York style Italian restaurant in Miami. more

Editorial review from Urbanspoon 3/11/2009

The only complaint I have ever had about Randazzo's is that I got there too late once or twice and they were out of the Sunday Spaghetti. The restaurant itself has an energy about it, from the Italian music playing in the background, to the Italian-american movies playing on the High Def Tvs (i.e. A Bronx tale)to the convivial the staff. It's not the place to come to an intimate, romantic meal, as at times its hard to hear what your dinner mates are saying. Do come in a group though and you'll have a great time and you'll be able to try more items on the menu, as the portions are HUGE. The sausage and peppers appetizers is delicious and I really can't pull myself away from the Sunday Spaghetti. The meatballs are the best I have ever had, bar none. more

Randazzo's is HOME! 1/17/2009

My boyfriend loves italian food. I was searching on the web for a fab italian restaurant for my boyfriend's surprize birthday. I found Randazzo's and I am so glad I did.. This place was amazing.. I had a little surprize bday party planned for him with some close friends and family and Randazzo's waiters were all into it.. The food was amazing.. It reminded me of Little Italy from home in NY. It was cozy and small but very family oriented. Did I say the food was Amazing?? My boyfriend ordered the meatballs and was raving about them all the way home. I had the raviolis and couldn't finish them up, they were soooooo good.. My daughter had the chicken parm and mom had the salomon and both dishes were yummy. The portions were huge enough to feed an Army and the appetizers were enoromus! The calamari and the mozzarella to die for.. I sneaked in a cake of my favorite bakery for my boyfriend and the waiters surprized my hunny with the cake and sang Happy Birthday for him. It was definitely an eventful time. The highlight of the evening was meeting the famous boxer, owner, cook himself. We complimented on the food and told him we loved it here and he was very humble, gracious and an awesome guy.. We will definitely be returning real soon. Pros: Just like home Cons: parking more

The BEST homemade tasting Italian restaurant in Miami. I have eaten at New York's and Boston's Little Italy and have never had better food than Randazzo's, equally good seldom, better never. Warning though, dishes are family size so 1 entree can usually feed 2 to 3 people.\r Best spaghetti and meatballs anywhere and even their fish dish is incredible. Give them a try you won't regret it. more

Wow 8/28/2008

One word............................. Phenomenal!! Service was a great. Don't expect to get in and out in under an hour if your going for lunch though! The food was just amazing! Everyone at our table kept passing everything around and it was all delicious! Pros: Food, Ambience Cons: parking more

Great Food. 8/10/2008

Service was excellent. The price was reasonable. Everyone in my party enjoyed this and stated so. Will go back. more

My God your plates are huge. Great place, Great food. 6/30/2008

Went here with my wife to be last week, had a great time. Great atmosphere, wine list is good, excellent service you have to try the salad, wow. Food is amazing, real Italian American like, you will never find this stuff anywhere else in Miami. WoW the size of the plates, was that all for me or did you confuse my order with Bobby Baccalieri's? Amazing place, go there you wont regret it. Pros: Everything Cons: Nothing more

WOW Meatballs 2/17/2008

Love this place! Cozy, feels like you are part of the family. Food and ambiance are always excellent. You must have the meatballs as part of your main dish or talk the waiter into breaking the rules and just order them as a sidedish. Ample menu, with something for everyone. Although, if you go during the evenings or peak lunch hours, you could be waiting for a while. Pros: Ambiance, Food Cons: Wait time more

VERY FAMILIARY AND GOOD. 9/19/2007

IT'S HARD FOR ME GOING TO EAT AT AN ITALIAN RESTAURANT OUTSIDE ITALY, BUT I WAS AFFASHINATED FROM THIS PLACE. AND I HAD A GOOD EXPERIENCE! LOOK... BE CAREFUL WITH THE PORTIONS... THEY'RE INCREDIBLE BIG!!!!!! I ATE A SAUGE ANTIPASTO ND IT WAS VERY GOOD AND TASTY. I ATE ALSO VEAL SCALOPPINE WITH ROASTED POTATOES AND LET ME TELL YOU... THE MEAT WAS VERY SOFT AND FLAVOURY, LIKE THE POTATOES. A GOOD BOTTLE OF WINE, ESPRESSO, AND THE EXPERIENCE WAS GOOD. Pros: GOOD FOOD. Cons: PARKING. more

Best Comfort Italian 6/6/2007

Let's face it, there is nothing like comfort food, specially if it's some pasta. Randazzo's has it. It's not the ""fancy exotic"" that has popped up all around, it's the down and dirty mama's cuisine that will fill you up and leave no space for dessert (although there is always space for dessert). For example, there is nothing in town like the ""sunday gravy"" they serve, and trust me, the price is based on the amount of food you will be getting. Add to that a very nice wine list, friendly service, and let me tell you, Little Italy has come to life. more

Good food, large portions 1/31/2007

I've visited twice in the last two months. Identical experience both times. The food portions are large, and you pay for it. The server was slightly indifferent, but acceptable. The food was delicious. It is not inexpensive, but the portions probably justify the price. This is not an elegant dining affair. Some may call it casual Italian, but I might suggest it is more peasant Italian. Which, if you are Italian, is just fine. I shall return as soon as possible. Pros: The food was delicious Cons: Small place, didn't see any female servers. They would have softened the joint. more

Best Italian Resturant in Miami 5/9/2006

I recently had the pleasure of eating at Randazzos, in Coral Gables. The food was great! If you are from NY, Jersey, Philly or Chicago without a doubt you will feel at home. I have lived in Miami for 7 years and have never found an Italian restaurant that I just had to go back to and eat again. However, Randazzos is just the place I have been looking for. Its really about the food and this place got it right! I was there on a Tuesday night, and got seated right way. However, I am sure that because its in Coral Gables the wait would be long Thursday through Sunday, as are most places in that area. I had the Opportunity to meet the owner and without a doubt. He took the time to meet his customers. Make sure you leave room for desert. I suggest the Cannoli. Cons: Parking in the area more

Novelty lost its appeal! 3/24/2006

I had the most unpleasant experience for the SECOND time at Randazzo's. Needless to say I will not be returning, third time is NOT the charm. The service there is disgraceful. What began as a novelty restaurant for a former boxer turned restarentuer. has now become a place where only those they want to take in eat. I will sum with this, they sat five other parties the same size as mine before me, and then took an hour to serve us just our salad. The three tables around us had already received their entrees. Absolutely unjust! Cons: Service, Service, Service more

Unbeliveable Food 3/16/2006

I have been to Randazzos on several occasions and the food is amazing!! The portions are HUGE and the service is excellent!! The only complaint I have is the size of the restaurant. The tables are so close together, that your chair is getting hit when people walk by. And if you dont get there right when the doors open, plan on waiting in line for a table. The restaurant fills up fast.. Pros: Amazing food, Great service Cons: Crowded Restaurant more

A Taste of Little Italy in Miami 12/28/2005

I really enjoyed going to Randazzos! The service was excellent. The food was excellent. When I walked into the place I could have sworn I was in Little Italy! I highly recommend this place! Pros: great food, great service Cons: a little cramped more
