A huge relief to find a good vet in my area. My dogs are very nervous but Dr Marks and his staff made a calming environment for them to recieve wonderful care.

Worst

The only reason they rate more than one star is because the doctors really are good at what they do. Sadly, all of that competence is overshadowed by a very unpleasant office man...

Dr, Marks and Dr. Nic are fantastically skilled and caring veterinarians. Each of them has performed both customary (spay & neuter) as well as emergency surgeries on our dogs and cats over the past 20 years. Always great care & TLC. They have always had super friendly and knowledgable staff, and run a spotlessly clean clinic (front AND back!) We moved to Malibu many years ago but never changed vets ~ they are too great to leave! more

I have been coming to the Rancho Park Vet clinic since I moved to Los Angeles in 2002. I trust them with my favorite being on earth, my 10 year old Yorkie. She boards there from time to time, and has been seeing Dr Nic and Dr Marks since she left the pet store with me at 3 months old. I find Dr Nic to be thorough in her explanations with me, and gentle with my dog. The staff is friendly and attentive - and they all obviously love animals. The facilities are clean. more

Hmm, I'm not sure about all these other bad reviews but I've been taking my dog there for several years. Both doctors are very kind and compassionate and the staff is always nice too. I don't feel like they recommend unnecessary things -- I had my dog's teeth cleaned awhile back ago and I keep asking whether that needs to be done again and they've said that he doesn't need it again yet. They are very patient with my dog's vet-phobia, and the doctors will take the time to explain things to me, return phone calls, etc. Things do add up, but I can't say that anything they've done wasn't needed. more

The staff have always been great 7/25/2011

We've been going here for for about 5 - 6 years now. I have a 12 year old chihuahua and a 6 year old shihtzu. I must say, they are not inexpensive, but I've looked around and pretty much most of the clinics are charging about the same price. They do try to sell heartworm meds but really thats up to the owner to get it or not. The staff have always been great and have taken good care of our dogs. more

I have known Dr Marks for almost 3 years, and I can honestly say that I have the highest regard for his work ethic, and eagerness to help his customers. His practice has been taking care of my dog since the day I picked him from the litter! The doctors have always been professional and upfront with me about the required and recommended care for my little guy. I have never had any problems, but I know that if there was a problem, he would make sure to handle it as quickly as possible. I believe his prices are fair, and while they are not necessarily the cheapest on the block, they are not the most expensive. You definitely "get what you pay for", and that is meant with the utmost respect. more

Such a relief! 7/19/2011

I just moved here and was extremely anxious to find a new vet that was good and not expensive. First thing I noticed was how clean the office was. The front office staff is really nice and really showed an interest in my two sick chihuahuas. Dr Marks was so gentle with them and they hardly even reacted to his shot, which they would normally be royally freaking out. The prices werent super cheap but they were definately not over-priced either. My dogs got treated and were better within a few days just as Dr Marks said they would be. Such a relief to find a local vet! more
