I wanted to buy some gold bullion, so I searched online for local gold dealer in Raleigh. The first link that came out was this jeweler with top reviews. I called the store number to get some basic information like spot over price, etc; the person responded that they couldn't give any information over the phone, and that I needed to come to their store. Today I drove to their store in 10251 Little Briar Creek Ln, Raleigh, NC. The front of the store had sign that read that they buy and sell gold coin/bullion. I door was locked, and subsequently sales lady opened the door. I inquired that I was there to get information about buying Gold bullion. I don't know what was the reason, but I had to repeat that three time that I was there to buy gold bullion; she kept repeating that she can't give information unless I have gold with me!!! I politely told the lady that I called their number and was told to come to the store to get my questions answered. after few minutes I was able to establish the reason WHY I WAS THERE to her. Then she said they don't sell 24 carat gold bullion. I felt really irritated with the whole response. The sign outside said that they sell gold bullion. I asked again to make it clear, and she said they sell gold up to 22 Carat !!!! I just wasted time and gas driving to this POS jeweler. I really have DOUBT about their TOP REVIEWS now. Friends don't waste your time with this store. It seems like they are very eager to buy your gold at their price, but not sell bullion at fair market price. more

I am very picky about who I do my business with. I will definitely be going to see Raleigh Fine Jewelry again. Not only did they have a great selection of fantastic looking jewelry but the staff was far, far beyond helpful. For anyone living in the area, I wouldn't go anywhere else. more

I cannot tell you how easy it is to go in and get James to look over your gold for selling and sell it. He sat down with me and sorted all the gold pieces out told me exactly how much each class of gold was to sell them and weigh them in front of me. He then asked for my ID and went step by step on the paperwork on what it was and what I would be receiving. He even told me that if I had any jewelry that needed to be fixed he would do it for free!!! Now that is service!!! more

The gentleman doing the gold pricing was quite brash and over-confident. I guess since I did my research as a seller I wasn't a good target, errrr sucker. The scale at this location measured 1/2 gram less than 3 other locations I price shopped. I even went to UPS store and used a postage scale. more

If you are looking to sell your gold, don't waste your time with all the others claiming to give you top dollar, RFJ really delivers! After shopping around they gave me the highest amount for my gold instead of the minimum. Highly recommended! more
