Their lobster and crab rolls are the best I have had in Atlanta. The menu of other items is extensive.\r \r The atmosphere is hip. Snappy casual comes to mind. Mostly under 40 crowd. It's gets a fair amount of the after movie crowd from the Tara theater, which is just next door. It's in the former South of France space, but the atmosphere is nothing like that old tired place. It has a space for large groups as well.\r \r The service is good and the prices very competitive. Pros: Sushi and Atmosphere Cons: Parking can be a problem at times more

Green Tea Creme Brulee. What else can i say!!?? 2/5/2008

The chicken and shrimp dumplings were a delightful must try appetizer. The restaurant has a trendy and modern style with eclectic lighting. The staff was superb as they helped me pick a delicious line up from the spicy seafood platter to the sushi. The food display was refreshing to the eye. Unique shaped plates and tasty sauces added appeal. You always appreciate the hot towels before dinner, the food arrived promptly and the table was cleared nicely after each dish. Keep in mind, after viewing a show at the theater next door you must stop here! You won?t have to hunt for parking in this shopping center. Pros: Large food selection Cons: Short Cocktail list more

Très bien! 2/21/2006

I went with a large group of people for lunch. My main course was very good. I ordered the Chicken Chasseur. I was able to try many different French Appetizers.. but a lady who was with us said that she did not like the house soup, it just tasted very bland. My dessert although was nothing to brag about. Pros: Service, Seating, Setting Cons: dessert more

Avoid the kids' table. 2/20/2006

My wife and I reserved a table to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Despite our early arrival, we were seated in a room behind the main dining room (the host indicated that a table wasn't available in the main room). In my opinion, this small back-room had the ambiance of an unfinished basement. I sat facing a sterile, colorless wall and my wife faced a table set for a large party. The room lighting seemed incadescent, and the hideous lineoleum-like flooring stood out. From our table, we could peer into the candle-lit dining room with live music and a fireplace; the romantic atmosphere we heard so much about and came to enjoy. Instead, we felt as if we'd been seated at the kids' table and half expected to be given a menu with a choice of hamburger or chicken fingers. Humiliated, we didn't stick around to find out. Cons: Thoughtless, Inconsiderate, Rude more

Very Disappointed, Will never go back 12/8/2005

Went there for Valentine's Day Dinner. The atmosphere was ok, the serving staff was not too friendly. Full menu was not offered, only a reduced version. The Escorgat appetizer was probably the only thing we enjoyed. My wife ordered the lamb rack, it was way over cooked and very tough. Crowded and very uncomfortable. Certainly not romantic and not worth the $100+ we spent. Would have got better food at Ruby Tuesday. Will never go back. Cons: poor food, poor service more

Romantic French restaurant 11/21/2005

Went with my gf...got a table right by the fireplace...best seat in the house. I just got house red, I forgot to get the name of the wine, but it was excellent...velvety and smooth. We had the filet mignon and a chicken dish, which were good. The fireplace and the ambience were the highlights. Pros: Fireplace, Atmosphere, Food more

Quaint and Cozy 11/13/2004

Loved the ambience of this cozy and quaint restaurant. Had a very comfortable feel to it, at the same time giving you the atmosphere that's perfect for that romantic dinner. My husband had the jumbo shrimp cocktail appetizer, duck with orange sauce and ice cream (he just wanted something sweet after the meal). I had the puff pastry with ground veal and pork, chicken stuffed with goat cheese and spinach and vanilla creme brulee. Liked the puff pastry, hubby thought shrimp cocktail was tasteless, we both enjoyed our entrees but were equally disappointed with the dessert. I was expecting so much more from a French restaurant! The ice cream was probably something bought from the grocery store and my creme brulee was very bland. The service wasn't anything exceptional. I'd rate the restaurant better if I'd never tried the dessert but being a sweet tooth, I left feeling very cheated. Pros: puff pastry, entree more

Romantic rendezvous 5/8/2004

dinner by the fireplace 11/20/2002

My friend and I decided to get a quick dinner before the movie at the TARA on a week night,we were seated near the woodburning fireplace and we really loved the ambiance and the warm attention of the staff. This place seems to have been here forever and is so wonderfull specially in a cold wintery evening,we decided to skip the movie and spent over 21/2 hour and loved every minute and every dish that we tried,oh by the way the food is superb,we wish more people wood support small cozy places like this in Atlanta,it is going to be our favorite place for now on. Pros: good parking, very affordable, friendly servers more

Nice surprise 8/16/2002

We were very surprised at the quality of the food and service and atmosphere of this place since it never gets any reviews or any mention in the local papers. You feel like you are in a country inn somewhere in the cote d`azur. We would reccomend this lovely restaurant to anyone, specially to couples looking for a cozy place. more
