i cant say enough about the great experiences i have had at radius10. The staff is always super friendly, but not overbearing. Some nashville restaurants have these servers that...

Worst

Very trendy, very ""to be seen"" kind of place. It was almost like you come here to be seen and say you've been there, and the food and drinks don't really matter. First and for...

If you go, go on a Monday night 6/1/2008

We arrived for our reservation and waited for 45 minutes in the bar while the airhead hostess seated several other four tops for later reservations. I know this because we knew the people she seated and their reservations were later than ours! Pros: Nice space, nice outdorr dining area, cool view Cons: service and overall feel of staff, they seem overwhelmed and no management more

We arrived for our reservation and waited for 45 minutes in the bar while the airhead hostess seated several other four tops for later reservations. I know this because we knew the people she seated and their reservations were later than ours! When i asked her about it she explained that they were very backed up and appoligized and assured me that we would get the next four top. So, our reservation was for 8:15 and we left just after eleven. This is not the French Laundry, come on. No manager in sight. The waiter, who was nice but overwhelmed, told us that they had "double the people show up" than they had on the books. And i can assure you that the hostess was not equipped to handle it. Too bad, because the food is good, not great but very nice. But would not go back, especially on a weekend. Go to one of the other new, great restaurants in town like CityHouse, etc. where the owners are actually present and presiding over the room. Pros: Nice space, nice outdorr dining area, cool view Cons: service and overall feel of staff, they seem overwhelmed and no management more

Overrated, Velvet Rope Pompous Feel, Blah Food. Been There Lots, Won't Go Again 5/3/2008

I hate to write a poor review for our local cuisine. But, simply: Overrated. Food is average. Customer service is consistently pompous no matter how many times I go. I have had to go there, unfortunately because colleagues or friends or out of town guests always want to try it due to the hype. I have to be honest - I don't know where the hype comes from. We travel a lot and eat here in Nashville a lot and I'm afraid Radius 10 just doesn't hold a candle to some of our other fine dining favorites such as Park, Margot, Eastland, or Tayst. I wish I could say more , but, the service and holier than thou attitude makes you feel like you're in a velvet rope NYC night club instead of our beloved Nashville and the food is just blah. I won't be going back even if our out of town guests beg. They never end up being happy or satisfied after going there. I will say it looks like a great little bar scene for young, attractive singles. Pros: The bar scene is hip Cons: Attitude, Customer service, food temp, menu, strange seating, noise level more

Worth the money 4/9/2008

My boyfriend and I went here a little while back. We went on a Monday night so it was very quiet. The atmosphere was nice. The food was excellent. We had the lobster pizza, I had the white truffle chicken lasagna and he had the filet, both delicious. An appetizer, two entrees, bottle of wine and dessert put us around $150 and it was worth it. If you are looking for a romantic, nice dinner this is a great spot. Pros: Great Food, Free Valet Parking, Nice Atmosphere more

Great place to enjoy something different 3/10/2008

I found Radius10 on the web and made reservations for my husband and I for dinner. Needless to say it was the best experience we have had. Between the great server James and the bar staff Heather (who is the best) we enjoyed our food and drinks. Since then we have taken several people to dinner there and not once have we been disappointed. The cheesy grits are to die for in my opinion along with the martini list and desserts. My favorite is the White Truffle Chicken Lasanga....We have had guest from out of state who just love the atmosphere and the way the bar staff treated us. Nashville needs more restaurants like this it certainly feels like being in Seattle. The food presentation is always delightful although a little pricey but to me it is well worth it. Great job! Pros: Ambience, Bar Staff Cons: Little pricey more

Great Service 2/21/2008

My Best gal friend and I went here and had the best food and service. Tyler was our server and he was so nice. As my friend and I are both not sea food lovers, we were a bit upset by the limited choices. I had the white truffle chicken lasagana and she had the shrimp and gritts. Both dishes were fablous! The tables are right on top of one another, the only thing we didn't like. Pros: Great service, great food Cons: Tables are right on top of one another more

Overall a great experience 2/15/2008

I went to this restaurant with mediocre expectations. We went for Valentine's day to try something new. I figured the real attractions for some people were the people watching, view of downtown and the overall trendiness and chic atmosphere. I was sooo impressed. The food was some of the best I've had in Nashville! The country ham and white cheddar tater tots were to die for! As was the mac and cheese. My date and I traded plates several times because we couldn't decide which entree we liked better! The service was phenomenal too. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. In short, this may be a new favorite spot of mine. I am bringing my sister back when she comes to visit in a few weeks. If I could give it more that 5 stars, I would. Pros: Excellent food, views, service, atmosphere Cons: none! more

Great for lunch or dinner! 1/11/2008

We recently purchased a CityPass book from a local high schooler. Never hearing of Radius 10 we gave it a try using our coupon. It was amazing!! A bit pricey but worth the food. For dinner we sat at the chef's table. We watched all the food being prepared and had unlimited amounts of interaction with the owner. We went back for lunch using our last coupon. It was not disappointing in the least. They had the best macaroni and cheese ever--We'll go back for sure! more

Best salmon ever! 12/26/2007

The New Zealand Wild Salmon dish was the best salmon that I?ve ever eaten. It was served in a coconut lemongrass broth with lobster mango dumplings. Delicious! My wife loved her Low Country Shrimp and Scallops served with grits, which she said were unlike any grits she?d ever eaten. We had a very good Lobster Pizza for our first course: thin crust with corn and goat cheese. The ham and cheddar tater tots were good, but I?d try something else next time. Both of us got the brownie for dessert. It was the most pedestrian thing we ate - nothing special. The ambience is urban, modern, and noisy - for example, expect exposed overhead ductwork. Overall, though, superb food. more

Way overrated 11/1/2007

We went for a special event and the food was only average. The selections were run of the mill, not worthy of the prices. Honestly I would prob not go back. The service was good and the atmosphere was unique but hardly worth the $200 we spent on the meal Pros: good service Cons: Food was not very inventive more
