This place must being doing great because they certainly don't need my business. I was in there this past weekend and spent twenty minutes on the showroom floor looking for information and ready to purchase. I didn't get as much as a simple hello from anyone and during that time saw only one person helping with what looked like a nice flow of potential customers coming and going. I've been in there before and there's something off putting about their vibe. After leaving we went over to Park Avenue Bike in Victor and got an incredibly helpful salesperson who spent an half hour with us explaining and testing different models. I just got off the phone with RV&E and they quoted me a price $65 higher than Park Avenue for the exact same make and model!! And Dan, the guy who answered the phone kept try to insist that I come down to the store instead of simply quoting me their price.... that's what phone's are for idiot!!! No-brainer.... RV&E is NOT worthy of your time or business!!! more

Went here to buy a good mountain bike. Their friendly staff was always eager to help, even though the store was extremely busy. They had a great selection bikes and sixes to choose from. They helped me find the correct size bike., and also explained about the different brands they carried. Their sales people were not pushy , and did not try get you to purchase what they thought you should get. I brought a friend back to get a bike and received the same level of service. Will definitely go back. more

The RV & E Bike store in Fairport is the best place to buy any bike or skate equipment in the Southeast Rochester area. The store is run by people who love and know all about bike and skates. It even offers cross-country skis in the winter. The selection is naturally geared towards people of the same love for the sports, and thus includes high quality merchandise. The great thing about the store, however, is the fact that the staff is always ready and able to give great advice and help with your selection, which in itself is worth the little extra you might have to pay over mass discount retailers. more
