I had RK Knight Plumbing go out to my Mom's house to fix a giser of a leak in the front yard. She has an older home built sometime in the early 50's I think. RK Knight said they would be out there within 30 min as this was an emergency. Not only were they out when they said they were but they gave us several different options to choose from to fix the leak. We had them replace the water main and being that there was already an open ditch they suggested that we do the gas as well being that that line was just as old as the water line. So we did. These guys were so fast and so professional it was unbeleivable. My mom had water and gas back on that same day. They even wore booties when they checked the rest of the house for any other problems which thrilled my mom to death. I found out that RK Knight has been around for over 50 years in this area and know all the plumbing around here. This was very reassuring to my mom. I would recommend these guys to anybody with out hesitation. The old saying goes ""You get what you paid for,"" but with RK Knight you get so much more more

I have used RK Knight Plumbing for years and have known them even longer through local nonprofit organizations (which they support many). I have personally used them 4 times and each time they finished on time, under (or at) budget & I have never had to call them for the same problem twice. I would highly recommend them and I think it's very important to support local ""family owned"" businesses! more

What else can I say but, WOW!!! R.K. Knight is by far the best company that I have EVER used! They showed up exactly when they said they would, fixed the problem quickly, and even put these red covers over his shoes so that he didn't get my floors dirty (which I really appreciated even though I have hard wood floors) I definitely would recommend these guys to anyone, you can tell they know what they are doing. more

R.K. Knight is the best plumber! They are so reliable and friendly. There is nothing worse than having to wait all day for a plumber to show up. I have never had to wait with them...they are there right on time. My mom told me to call them last time I needed a plumber and I am so glad I took her advice! With my little guy having a bad habit of sending toys down the toilet...which in turns plugs up the toilet...I need their service far too often! Oh yeah, their prices are fair! more

If you want a reliable and fast responding plumbing company R.K. Knight is the place to call! When you call the person who answers the phone is friendly and helpful. Everytime I call and they give me a time of arrival, they are either early or exactly on time. They don't leave a mess, and don't waste time ( which is more money).Prices are equivalent to other plumbing companies, but the quality is better. more

When I woke up to a leaking toilet and a stopped up tub, I thought I was going to have to spend all day waiting for a plumber to maybe show. But I called RKK and one of their technicians arrived promptly. He was cheerful, professional, and knowledgeable, and able to explain what was wrong and what had to be done to fix it so clearly even a layman like myself could understand. The job was done quickly and with no mess left behind. He even re-coiled my extension cord! It's that kind of attention to detail that singles out the true craftsman from the merely competent. RKK is now my go-to company for all my plumbing needs and I would recommend them to friends or family without hesitation. more

Had a water heater replaced. Called RK Knight plumbing. They sent out a plumber within 30 minutes. He assessed the problem, and began installing the new water heater. The plumber was very courteous and neat. We are very happy with our new water heater and the service we received. more

Over priced 8/5/2008

I called at 8 am with a problem of a backed up sewer,it had flooded our bathrooms and we were unable to use them since the night before. Tree roots were the problem. The estimated time of arrival was between 1 and 3. At 3:15 I called the office to find out the expected ETA, she couldn't tell me, only that the plumber was stuck on a problem call and I was next. At 4:30 I called again, this time she said she's sending someone right away. He arrived at 5 pm. it took him all of 15 min. to clear the problem and he charged me for the whole hour at the rate of $125. The young man was nice and courteous, but that didn't make up for waiting for so many hours without any contact from the company to reassure the customer that someone was indeed coming. Diana more
