real vietnamese food 8/18/2002

Quang's is both my favorite vietnamese restaurant in the country and my favorite restaurant in Mpls. The soups and bowls are huge, fresh and an incredible bargain. You must try the fresh spring rolls - ask for fish sauce: to my taste it's much better than the standard sauce. Complement your meal with the wonderfully tart limeade and finish off with an iced french coffee/condensed milk concoction brewed in its own little single serving pot. The restaurant is always full, with a mix of vietnamese speaking people and the local (starving) artist/musician crowd, yet there is almost never a wait. Pros: Authentic, Healthy, Great Value more

Good and Authentic 8/13/2002

There is no question that this is the best Vietnamese restaurant in the state. The food is authentic and delicious. I love the fresh shrimp and pork springrolls and the grilled pork chops and rice. The coffee is tremendous and the caramel flan is fantastic. It is rich, creamy and amazingly good. Pros: good food, good prices, good service more

My Favorite! 8/11/2002

This place rocks! My friends and I always come here even though we live in St. Paul. The food is unbeatable and the price is rock bottom cheap. I like the spring rolls, sea bas soup and pearl bubble tea, but you can't go wrong with anything you order here. Pros: excellent food, fast service, low prices more

Worth the Drive 8/9/2002

We live about half an hour away from Quang, but me make it a habit of stopping there at least once a week. It is well worth the drive. Needless to say, we're loyal patrons. The food is fabulous and extremely affordable. The service is fast and efficient! You can't go wrong with anything you order there. Everything is good. Quang deli sucks. The sandwhiches are decent, but I'm sick of this place. There are so many Vietnamese restaurants in the Twin Cities that is SO MUCH BETTER. For Coffee?? Most Vietnamese restaurants have the special Asian coffee drink...it's all the same. Pros: Fresh sandwhiches Cons: dirty more
