Fabulous, unplanned happenstance finding this place as we were scouting our new neighbourhood. The meals are simplistically delicious, like being in any GOOD café in France. Every offering from the bread basket with butter to the daily soups are authentically French. We have been here several times Ovwr the past month since we moved, the food has been consistently good. more

We happened upon Provence Grill during our stay in South Beach. A bit off the beaten path, it is a hidden jewel of a restaurant on the far end of the Lincoln Road strip. To be concise, it's authentic French bistro dining. Visiting from our hometown of New Orleans, we are well versed in good French cuisine. Our meal spanned French onion soup & lyonnaise salad as starters to a quality trout menuire & filet mignon w/bernaise as entrees, and finalizing with a delicious housemade apple crisp dessert & chocolate mousse. It's abundantly clear the chef/owner is dedicated to his craft. Our server Romeo, also a French countryman, made excellent suggestions including wine pairings that worked and his service was spot on. We were very impressed with our overall experience and would recommend this restaurant to other tourists, as I'm sure locals in the know must be aware of it's presence in the local dining scene. more

Quiet, cozy restaurant. A tad pricy but this is South Beach. Everything we tried was well done. more

Everything was awesome and not a bad price. Great food and wonderful romantic setting. Dinner on Lincoln Rd is always fun because you get the added bonus of "walking it off" after and people watching. more

True French restaurant with reasonable prices and hand crafted gourmet quality menu. One of the best I have been to even in France! If you are not a gourmet close your eyes and point to something on the menu and I promise you will have one of the best meals of your life! more

A little tight but food was good and as crazy as this sounds the french fries were excellent. We had hanger steak, mussels, and chocolate souflee all were good and recommendable. Overall 2 thumbs up more

A Must Go 10/3/2009

This restaurant was definintely a nice surprise!\r Everything we ordered was delicious, from the French cheese platter to the fondant au chocolate cake. The Seafood Risotto and Lemon Salmon were very tasty.\r However, tables are candle lit which make it chanllenging to read the menu at night. Pros: Delicious food, friendly service, quiet Cons: Dim lighting on the outside porch more

super restaurant, casual, lied back, relaxing. food is excellent, really good quality French as possible with the ingredients you find here. never disappointed by any dish, from the menu or from the weekly specials. great semi outdoor bar where you can also eat, assisted by the owner that is a great person, making your time spent there very enjoyable. also both food and wines are very honestly price. drinks are generous compared to what you normally get in miami. definetively a place to frequent often, like your cantina, where you can go as often as you want by yourself or with friends. is also very nice for lunch, with a very inexpensive menu, but very appealing and very good. I have dined at this restaurant a couple of times and have a variation of impressions. \r \r ET = Every time, ST= Some Times\r \r Out of the menu:\r French onion soup- great ET\r Escargot- EXCELLENT, the sauce is superb ET\r Boueuf Bourguignon- Exellent, without the pasta\r Lobster Risotto- allright\r Mushroom Ravioli- not my coup of tea, some may like it, i have had better.\r Creme Brulee- HORRIBLE! ST, the idea is that they serve you three flavors of the brulee that are supposed to complement each other, however, the completely miss the idea.\r Chocolate Cake with moten center- EXCELLENT, ET, delicious decadent soufflé-like cake with a raspberry sauce which cuts the sweetness of the chocolate in a dance of love in your mouth, really, try it. \r \r FOTH, BOTH\r Waiters, ST, the younger waiters are completely idiotic. They do not know what is going on and should not be working there and have NO IDEA how to add (check problems). The only exception is a younger woman who was incredibly kind.\r Older, french-speaking waiters are kind and knowledgeable, very friendly\r \r Management, incredibly helpful, incredibly kind.\r \r The main benefit of the restaurant is the free bottle of house wines on anniversaries and birthdays. more

This is one of the few authentic french restaurants in Miami. The location is perfect, it has valet parking (hard to find in this part of town), the service is great, it has a beautiful outdoor sitting area protected against rain, the food is very well priced on the inexpensive side.\r I love it here! more

Provence Grill offers a great menu of traditional french cuisine right in the heart of the Brickell Area. Located next to the recently opened Mary Brickell Park and plaza you have the option of outside patio seating or inside seating. Service is excellent and classically french with waiters being fluent in French and English. The food is all very fresh and the prices are set at a perfect level for frequent enjoyment. more

Best steak tartare in town 9/9/2007

I try my best to come here at least once a month for the spectacular steak tartare. I have converted people into tartare lovers after experiencing this delicious little gem tucked away in Brickell. more

OUI! 8/8/2005

AH, YES THE FOOD HER IS EXCELLENT. TRUE FRENCH FOOD SERVED WITH A BIT OF FRENCH ATTITUDE. IT'S A DELIGHTFUL SPOT WITH A LIVELY DINNER CROWD. THE WINE LIST HAS SOME VERY SPECIAL FRENCH WINES (SOMEWHAT UNUSUAL FOR MIAMI). OUI! GREAT FOOD & A GREAT TIME FOR ALL! Pros: DELICIOUS, FRIENDLY CROWD, SUPERB WINE LIST more

perhaps best in town 6/14/2003

This restaurant is probably the best french restaurant in town - taking all aspects of a restaurant into consideration. The food is delightful and there is a good, FRENCH winelist with some superb liqueurs. the portions are just right - you leave the restaurant thoroughly satisfied and ready to see a movie or do something. The more elaborate menu items appear at dinner, but lunch items are perfect light fare for that time of die. Don't miss their house pate, the lavender creme brulee, and the chocolate fondant. But everything is really good. Pros: prix fixe meals, ambiance, food Cons: nothing really, nothing really, nothing really more
