Concerns about Pioneer Prop Mngmt 4/2/2008

I have to agree with the negative assessments posted for same reasons and more. \r We are in our 5th year of having Pioneer Props as the HOA management company. The Pioneer way seems to be non-responsive employees who exhibit rude behavior towards the employers of Pioneer Prop (the HOA members); VERY aggressive issuing of fines for infractions of HOA By-laws, NOT necessarily the deed restrictions, many for minor issues; bad track record of getting major issues resolved peacefully, etc. In addition I believe that my HOA incurred over $74,000 in legal fees to fight lawsuits from HOA members because of Pioneer's litigious attitude.\r I am very interested in hearing from posters like johnsmith00, but cannot make contact through this site. I am trying to work with others in my association to have our HOA Bd. of Dir. get bids from other management companies. How can we get in touch? I have a message in to the City Search management to see if they can put us in touch with each other. Maybe if other posters do so also, City Search will allow contact off of this web site. Cons: Hidden charges, rude and/or non-responsive employees, poor organization more

Pioneer is the biggest waste of time and money. They take your dues, and do nothing with them. A very sad attempt at property management, and not worth anything. Avoid them at all cost. more

This company doesn't care about the people they work with. I rent one of their properties and cannot wait to move out. It's been 9 months since I moved in and the repairs I was promised at move-in have yet to be done. I have never seen the maintenance man. They rarely answer questions and when they do, it's only to promise that something will get done but never happens. I have the worst neighbors possible and have told them about this many times and nothing has been done. Save yourself a headache and don't used these unprofessional company. more

This company doesn't care about the people they work with. I rent one of their properties and cannot wait to move out. Pioneer Propery Mismanagement 6/28/2007

Don't be fooled by the 2 five star ratings. Must be some kickbacks involved. The entrance to our neighborhood is pathetic. Dead trees, tree stumps, and the community sign is unlegible due to dead shrubs and low hanging tree limbs covering several of them. Don't even try to get to the mailbox unless you plan on trimming tree limbs. A pool is available for 300+ residents but no avialable lifeguards during the summer. If for some apparent reason you get locked in the pool area they will let you out for the low cost of $25. We basically pay yearly dues to be monitored constantly for home violations only it appears. I don't know what is done with the majority of our dues but they are unwisely spent because they request more during the year. This year for a $19,800+ playscape that was approved without all the homeowner's knowledge. This company is inconsistent, discriminates, unworthy, and couldn't manage a goat ranch. I have had properties managed with Pioneer for the past 13+ years. They now manage my neighborhood HOA. Pioneer has followed my directions (and my associations ... too much for my own good) to the letter. If there is ever a problem, I can reached them day, night, holiday - whenever. I recommend them to everyone ... PERIOD! Pros: They're the best! Cons: They don't manage my children! more

Pioneer manages the community in which I own property and I find that we are the constant victims of miscommunication, poor customer service, and unfullfilled promises. Pioneer makes very little effort to keep us informed and the owners are rarely well organized because the meetings are poorly announced. There is virtually no feedback and the company allows its agents to give misinformation without accountability. They are also very hard to reach and the website is impossible to find. I am deeply insulted by the type of service they offer and intend to ask that our HOA shop for new managment at the earliest possibility. Pros: I suppose, that the property hasn't burned down is a pro. Cons: Very poor communication. more

Pioneer Property Management 8/24/2006

My rental house that they manage is new. But almost every month I receive repair bills from their in house maintence. It seems like they have to repair something so that they will get my money. Also, communication was bad with these people. Bad customer service. I do not recommend them to anybody. more
