Second Story Addition 4/20/2011

I hired Progress Contracting to build my second story addition in Westwood after meeting with 8 contractors. I made a great decision, Tim was really a pleasure to deal with. He made the process of a rather large project really easy. I made several significant changes during the project, Tim happily accomodated them even though i know it made his job harder. The work was of great quality, and was completed in a timely manner. I would gladly refer Tim to my family and friends, which is the best endorsement i can give. more

Very Satisfied 9/7/2010

Tim is a fantastic contractor! He was able to sit down with me to help revise the scope of my job so it would fit my budget. The revision was more inline with my budget and the quality was still excellent. I love the fact that he works closely with a licensed architect so my addition looked like it was always part of the house. I would definitely hire progress contracting again and would recommend them to anyone. If you want a contractor that is going to stay within your budget and give you top quality work then definitely hire progress contracting. more

Awful Customer Service and Unreliable 3/24/2007

Progress Contracting began an extensive deck project and disappeared after receiving a large payment. Left the deck in a dangerous state (missing railings, no gate around a pool, stairs not secured to main deck) and will not respond to phone calls and letters. Some of the work he did complete was substandard (warped decking and lattice, decking not properly secured) and will need to be redone by another contractor. Avoid this contractor. Cons: Dishonest, unreliable, shoddy work more

    Federal law requires contractors that disturb painted surfaces in homes, child care facilities and schools built before 1978 to be certified and follow specific work practices to prevent lead contamination. Always ask to see a contractor's certification.
