Rich did good work at first -- but I have to say I was very very worried when I gave him our money as I did not think he was going to show up. Funny thing -- once the work was do...

Editorial review from Citysearch 6/15/2012

Read the Reviews - we did not, BIG mistake! Do not hire Rich, he does not follow through and does not always know how to do a job. He seems like a great guy, maybe he is, but he should not be in business. We had a patio re-laid and the stone dust is now hardened to the surface of the stones and looks like concrete. He did not know how to work with the material, did not read the instructions, look on the web, inquire with the retail store where it was purchased or call the mfg to find out how to install. On top of that, there is also a low spot against our house that needs to be repaired as well. The retaining wall he installed is sitting on top of the patio and shoud have a base of its own. We found this out from other contractors who came to give estimates to fix the patio. It will cost us more to fix the patio and wall than we spent in the first place. Hard lesson learned. Proworx is not a legal company in the state of MD, it was forfeited a couple of years ago, check out SDAT for the state. On top of all this he actually took US to court for the final payment. Stay away! more

Don't Make Deal with Rich @ Proworx LLC 1/1/2012

Before you consider handing over any amount of money to Rich at Proworx LLC... search on the internet for all his reviews. He appears to have fair reviews for power washing but any major landscaping he has not followed through on his warranty his writes refund checks back to customers for work not completed ONLY FOR THE CHECK TO BOUNCE! He comes across as a nice guys, but in fact is very dishonest. He even arrived on site smelling like he just came from the local bar. Also, he has use the ""I am going out of business"" so that he does not have to come back to do any work he agreed to do. He used several addresses for his company -- but it is the same company. Don't be taken like many others have. Do your research across the web. more

Worst ever - Don't give them your $$$ 12/17/2011

We should have read all the review on Rich and his company Proworx LLC. Rich seemed nice when we first met him and sign a contact. Only after the work was half done did Rich fail to come back on time. When he finally did come back he was drunk ---- he gave us reason after reason why he could not get to the job sooner. Do not make the same mistake I did -- Don't hire him. He can not count on his own people to show up to do the job. more

Get your money then claims he is out of business 12/17/2011

Don't give Rich a dime -- he does not follow thru on his word. We are still fighting for our money back. He claimed that he went out of business. But it looks like he is still looking for work. Don't get ripped off by him. more

DON""T Hire! All the same company 12/17/2011

Don't give Rich a dime -- he does not follow thru on his word. We are still fighting for our money back. He claimed that he went out of business. But it looks like he is still looking for work. Don't get ripped off by him. We contracted with Pro Worx LLC to completed several lawn projects over the 2011 spring/summer season. We selected Pro Worx to meet our needs based on the warranty Mr. Beeler offered. Pro Worx stated the lawn work in mid April 2011 and completed it by the end of April. Within a few weeks of the sod being laid down it started to turn brown. Mr. Beeler of Pro Worx, owner, stopped by several times to address the problems and indicated that he would put down some chemicals. The problem became worst and worst of the weeks and we continued to call Mr. Beeler to address our concerns. His recommendations were to continue to apply chemicals to the lawn to see if it would turn around for the better. With many phone calls and several on site visits we continually requested that Mr. Beeler honner his warranty and replace the sod in the trouble areas. On 9th July Mr. Beeler agreed that our yard did turn for the worst and he proposed that he do a lawn renovation across the trouble areas. His first attempt was to tried placing seed down to see if it would take. It was always my recommendation that we relay sod down as it was a better choice. After Mr. Beeler laid down more soil and seed the little bit of lawn we had went dead. Phone and email contacts over and over again resulted in Mr. Beeler agreeing to replace the sod as his contracted warranted. However, given that it was in the middle of summer we agreed that it was way to hot for new sod to be laid and he would replace it towards the end of summer. On 3 Sept after contracting Mr. Beeler, he agreed he would arrive with his crew on 7 Sept to replace the old sod with new sod. The morning of 7 Sept it had been raining for 4 days straight and Mr. Beeler called at 0800 to informed us that he would not be able to make it that day due to the fact the sod company could not cut the sod due the extended rain and the softness of the land. We agreed that the following week would work for the replacement. I tried contacting Mr. Beeler via phone starting on the 12 of Sept to ask him what day he would be over. Over the few weeks, he did not respond and then final after our email on 22nd Sept Mr. Beeler responded saying that he would not honor his warrant due to the economy. Needles to say we were shocked that as a business owner he would just out of the blue lead a customer on for months agreeing to honor his company warrant ? just to come back around to say that the economy is the blame. If it wasn?t for his verbal and written agreements between the months of May and Sept, we as the consumer would have sent a request for consideration sooner. Mr. Beeler continuously agreed to honor his work and warranty through out the summer season. Everyone understood that the summer months were not the right months to put down sod and agreed to wait until the hot weather broke in Spet. We trusted that he would follow through based on all the communications between us. more
