Pro Tint Inc

I've been coming to Pro Tint for years, and found that most of their customers are like me. We LOVE the extra attention we get from Jeff & his crew & really appreciate their professionall manner. In fact their installers are alot of fun and are usually singing while working on your car. I've never had anything but respect from Jeff and his crew. They really make you feel right at home and treat you like family! Which brings me to the reason for this survey. Recently, I was there waiting to have my 8th vehicle tinted, (with 3m film), which I highly reccomend, when this young GANGSTER WANNABE, who is the one making all the false negative comments on this web site, (johnd16),came in to do buisness with Pro Tint. Apparently, he showed up 1 hour late and I was given his appointment. After realizing, that he would have to wait, which was no fault but his own, this ARROGANT CLOWN actually had the nerve to think he was entitled to some kind of discount, driven back to his home & picked up to recieve his car when completed, which to my surprise Jeff actually agreed to do. If it were me, I would not of had the same patience that Jeff posessed while helping this BUTHEAD. The story gets, better, this looser went even further & didn't want to pay his sales tax and suggested an even lower price if he pays cash, which at that point Jeff explained there was'nt any room to go down. To top it all off, this IGNORAMOUS starting mouthing off threats & obsenities & stormed off ,as if he were the victum. All the years, I have been a customer anywhere, I have never seen a customer that unreasonable. I thought I was in an episode of punked. I really felt bad for the staff of Pro Tint to have to deal with such a creep. The only thing left to say is, there's allways two sides of every story and I think their stellar reputation & 20 years of service speaks for itself. I DEFINITELY RECCOMMEND!!! They never let you leave unhappy, and allways deliver whats promised.... Pros: Biggest selection of Tints in the Valley, Honest, Fair, Reasonable Pricing more

Pro-Tint is a bad place for tints as they can?t keep promises and don?t tint very well as my first tint there many bubbles and the dot matrix was messed up. They promise you one time and continually push back the time frame of when the tint/work will be done. I have tinted a car there before, with mediocre results. The work is ?average?, nothing spectacular, but nothing horrible. I figured if the shop has been there for a while it must be ok, but I was so WRONG. Pros: Service so bad any place seems better. Says car will be done by 1pm means will be done by 6pm. Cons: Bad work, bad pricing, and a pric k owner, All have been WARNED. more

Jeff and his crew are always looking out for you, they are true professionals and it shows in their work and attitude. They make you feel like family and treat you that way. They have tinted and installed radio systems on 4 of my vehicles over the years and haven't let me or my expectations down yet! Jeff will always get you the best deal he can and have always been lower in cost than any of his competition...Bottom line, simply the best and I highly recommend Pro Tint. \r \r Thanks, Sean more

I agree with Bazana! Never Again! In 1998 (10 years ago) I took my little Honda CRX to Pro-Tint (Very Small Car). Absolutely HORRIBLE! The customer service sucked and when all was done, they didn't even measure the hatchback window tint correctly and had to cut out a small corner piece to put in. Lame! And I had to leave the car a day and half! And that costed $200!! I never said anything about the hatchback window because I sold the car right after that. If you want a great place to go, California Tint is it! It's about a couple miles south of Pro-Tint on Rosemead Blvd. across the street from the High School. That place is great! I recently took my Pontiac Vibe in early one Saturday morning (first come first serve) and it was done in 1-1/2 hours! Their Saturday hours are 9-6 and I got there about 8:20 and waited. They work quick and they know what they're doing. The customer service is fantastic and my car looks beautiful! Only $125... and that's 10 years after paying $200 for terrible work from Pro-Tint!! I've been coming to Jeff since he first open in 1990, and all my cars he's done were nothing short of impecable. Over the years, I've gotten to know him and his staff and one thing for sure is his attention to detail and always making sure each and every customer is made to feel right at home and totally taken care of, the way it should be. I know for a fact he really cares, because when on one occasion when I was on my way out of town and didn't have an appointment, he actually left his lunch to help his crew get me out on time. I don't understand what's up with the negative comments on this blog, every time I've been there, all his customers love him as much as I do. Not only do they carry all the best films,but they take the time to explain the differences, unlike other companies that bait and switch to get your buisness. I have never, and I repeat it again, NEVER heard any direct negative criticism about him and I have sent alot of customers his way from where I work at Marcos Auto Body shop in San Gabriel. Believe me I woud here it. All I can say is ask any reliable source who knows him and his staff directly, and you won't be disapointed... more

We have taken all of our cars to Pro Tint over the past 10+ years - even our parents' cars. They have always done and excellent job and we have never had to replace them. Even though we now live 25 miles away, we still drive in for Jeff to take care of us. \r \r We recently had some trouble with an appointment and an employee; however, Jeff handled it with true professionalism! I would highly recommend using Pro Tint whenever you have a new car. His installers do an excellent job and they take pride in their work. The secret is to be sure you speak to Jeff from the beginning and he will be sure you and your car are handled with the TLC you deserve! more

Save your money and headache. Go somwhere else - anywhere - for your window tinting or any other work. Cons: Bad service, poor quality, unprofessional, no courtesy. more

I am not sure where all those good reviews coming from. But my personal (and real) experience with this business left me with a disgusting feeling. Pro-tint messed up my windows but made every excuse to evade its responsibility. This joint is run by a man who can sweat talk customers into spending lots of money but he is incapable of follow-up with quality and professional jobs. Cons: A real waste of your money, time, and energy. more
