Private Sewer was scheduled to repair my sewer in the city parkway next Thursday. Unfortunately on Saturday morning I awoke to a big black puddle in my basement. We were to have a graduation celebration today, so I was at a loss. I called Ron, he got in touch with Elmhurst's public works department and within a couple of hours Private Sewer had begun the repair. I was totally impressed to say the least. By lunchtime they were just about wrapped up. They even cleaned it up to a point where it was almost unnoticeable. That's what I call service. Absolutely awesome! more

THEY ARE NOT LICENSED IN THE STATE OF ILLINOIS,THEY ARE NOT BONDED OR INSURED WITH ANY MUNICIPALITY. Call and ask your local village where you live and ask them if Ron Jr can pull a permit under his name or under Private Sewer and Water Corp. They will tell you NO!! \r This company will rip you off as they have so many other people over the past decade. I believe that any post saying Ron Jr and his crew at Private Sewer and Water saved the day is bogus and probably generated by him from bogus accts to make himself look good! \r This man has had at least 8 business names over the past 10 yrs. He scams people and steals their money and will not return your phone calls if there is a problem. They ARE NOT a BBB Accredited Company.\r Do yourself a favor. Call a local licensed and bonded plumber. Ron Jr may give you a cheap price and make it sound like he knows the scope of the job like the back of his hand, however, the only thing he knows like the back of his hand is how to scam and steal peoples money leaving them to find another plumber to finish the job the correct way! Why to pay another plumber your hard earned money to repair this scammers mistakes!! \r Ron Jr may quote you a great price, however, so will many other reputable local licensed and bonded plumbers. Stay away from this one folks. He has robbed so many people of their hard earned $$ and owes many area residents & material suppliers money as well. Look up a plumber that has no bad reviews, call your local municipality and ask them for a few names of plumbers that they know do good work in their village. Private Sewer and Water will not be on their list of trusted, reputable good plumbers.\r \r Theres a reason there are bad reviews for these guys. Heed the warnings folks! \r \r Wouldn't you rather use the company you look up that has all good reviews, a company where the owner has had the same name for more than a year or 2, a company that has been in business for years under the same name and one that has good reviews? Theres a reason Ron Jr changes the name of his company every year or 2 !! He's a scammer! If you need sewer work, call several local ""licensed, bonded, insured"" plumbers that have been in business for years, get a few free estimates, call your local village and ask them if those plumbers do work in their town and ask if they are licensed and bonded with the village. Look them up on the BBB website, if they are not Better Business Bureau Accredited company, don't use them. Don't give away your hard earned cash to someone that won't stand behind their work. more

I'm a local homeowner/business owner and let me tell you, these guys are the REAL DEAL!!! They installed a check valve and sump pump system in my house after the 2010 flooding in Elmhurst (we got approximately 4 feet of water in our basement). Ron's innovative approach to solving our recurring problem worked 100%!!! It was AMAZING!!! This last rain we got NO WATER whatsoever!!! To deal with a company that actually thinks outside the box was, to say the least, absolutely refreshing!!! His exact words were, and I quote, "" You'll never get sewer back up again..."". BE CAREFUL!! Very dishonest and now has not paid invoices due for over 5 months for tens of thousands of dollars. Village also issuing citations. Painful to see positive reviews when he is stealing from others. more

Thank You to Ron and his men for taking care of a clogged toilet for me, and in record time I might add. It was Monday April 9th and my husband was out of town and one of my kids badly clogged the toilet. My very strong neighbor couldn't unclog it with the plunger. I called Ron, as he was recommended by a guy that has done odd jobs around the house for me for years. Ron couldn't have been more accomodating. He had one of his amazing guys there within two hours of the call. Did an amazing job. I would recommend him in a heart beat. Ronny & Private Sewer came to my rescue when my sewer line backed up. They were super nice and very professional. Ronny explained the work they would be completing in detail. I paid way less than what I was expecting based on the scope of work they performed. Ronny followed up with me a few days later to ensure everything was working properly. I cannot believe anybody would have anything bad to say about Ron and his men. I am a single Mother on a fixed income. Back in May, my basement drain was backing up. I called numerous plumbers to no avail. I was recommended to Ron from my neighbor. He rodded my sewer and put a camera into it. It was broke (and so was I)! He said he would periodically rod out my sewer (for no charge) until I could afford to do a repair. In August they had to dig up my yard and fix it once and for all. Ron was willing to let me make payments. He and his men treated me with the utmost respect and never once left me with no service. I will recommend them to everybody!\r more
