Terrible, Checks Cashed Illegally, Work Not Complete 9/8/2011

I am the President of a condo association. Ron Jr. and this company are a big scam. We had a project which work was never completed. In doing research, I can't find that this company even has a license to operate in the state of IL. Our check given to them was cashed illegally of which we are in the process of reporting both the currency exchange and this company to the Attorney General, State's Attorneys Office and Better Business Bureau. This company has a lot of stories and supposed clients which most likely don't exist. more

Private Sewer & Water is a joke!!! Ron should be a used car salesman the way he talks!! He lies, avoids calls and is..... just a pain in the A**!! I will never use his company for anything and will NEVER recommend him. He owes so many people money and almost put a local business OUT of business. He is lower than the scum he excavates! more

I'll make it short and sweet. This company regained my sanity! 5 count 'em 5 plumbers/sewer contractors tried and failed. Private Sewer fixed my back-up problem (that I lived with for a better part of 10 years) in 1 day! They weren't the cheapest but they were the best. Highly, highly, highly reccommend them! Just the opposite! - These guy's ARE the best! 3/18/2011

Unlike the other comment, we had a PHENOMENAL experience with Private Sewer. We were under the gun with a terrible situation - no flow, outrageous repair prices and a foot of water in the basement. They located our sewer from the roof stack and installed a cleanout in my front yard with their vacuum truck then rodded our sewer - no mess whatsoever and no lawn replacement! Problem solved at half the price of everyone else+! :) more

Stay away from Private Sewer and Ron Jr! 3/2/2011

Ron from Private Sewer did a major project for my 90 year old parents in Villa Park. New sewer line from building to street. Also, was to do two new ejector pits inside. This was 2/2010. One year later still not complete, although he told my parents it was done and they paid the whole amount of $15000.00. We had to hire another plumber to complete. He promised to complete for 1 year. Agreed to re-pay the amount for pits. NEVER HAPPENED and does not return calls. Next step Small Claims Court, I guess! more

No more back-ups! 6/14/2010

Took a shot on using these guys through a local recommendation. My sewer was totally broke in the street, had a company try to rod me out and quote my Wife and I an astronomical amount to do a partial repair. We reached out to Ron Jr. and decided to replace the entire line. They did an AMAZING job from start to finish - even their clean-up was outstanding!!!!!\r We even referred the to our parents for the same problem! Thanks Again Guys!!!! Pros: Best Price, Best Service - What else is there? more

Contractors Beware - GET PAID UP FRONT!!!! 6/7/2010

Ron Jr ignores calls, be they for down payments or payments for work done. Has great stories and is very charismatic but - BEWARE! All the BS is what he banks on to get work. Pros: knowledgeable? Cons: unreliable, and terrible pay! more
