I was really impressed with my experience with this company. They showed up on time and they were fast. The movers were seriously jogging on my move. They did a great job. My furniture was wrapped and handled very carefully. The guys were very professional. They followed my every order of where to place my belongings. They did a great job. I would use them again and recommend them to any one that needs help moving. more

Good price, quality service. 10/28/2011

My experience with Principle Moving was good, I felt like I was getting a fair quote. The movers took their time packing things up, which was good because it showed they were careful. Some of the movers left during the move, and some new movers came on. It was strange because then when it came time to put the bed back together, the mover who had taken it apart was no longer there and nobody could figure out how to put my bed back together. It's a big, complicated four-poster bed. They wanted me to pay them all the money without the bed being put together. I know it was late and moving is difficult, but the job wasn't completed. I refused to pay. The owner himself had to come out. He ended up putting the bed back together for me and even knocked off some money in the end which made me very happy. He definitely made it right. I wanted the extra quality and he gave me it so yes, I would use them again. more

i really had a great move i went over 300 miles and i had no damages i had no real issues at all-- they made it to my new home within the timeframe they told me that they would, they did full packing and finished so fast i gotto have a going away dinner last minue with my family i hope i never move again because of all the shi** u have to do but principle moving will def get my business if i move again thier truck came to my house in dc i had no problems and i will always refer to them more

Two men came who were dessed for work and started immediately. We are second story and wanted needed to remove all furnatur from the living room, Kitchen,hallway. This included the Stove and reffer. They had to take all this down the stairway and store i all in a rented container. Theynrver stopped and were very expert in their handling in the storrage unit. We could not find any thing to complain about. A wonderfull experienc and we hope to get the same fellows when we call for the return of it all. Thanks more

Do Not Use! 10/17/2011

Did not show up on move date for a 3 hour move, rescheduled to the next day. Next day, no call no show and the manager Tim wouldn't even return voicemails. Instead he would deflect by having the movers, who were not at fault, return the calls for him. Terrible management, DO NOT USE! I suggest using Two Men and a Truck instead. Comparable prices and way more professionalism when I used them in the past. Should have stuck with using them. more

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!! We just finished a cross country move with this co and Principle sunbcontracted our belongings to another company that destroyed a plasma TV, framed pictures, mattresses, and damaged a safe and other expensive items. They are less than reputable and should not be trusted. We hired them because of their reputation, but realized soon after that theyre a slimey, scandalous outfit. Our things arrived weeks late, broken, and we are still fighting over whether or not its their fault. They claim that the other company damaged our things, despite the fact that they hired them without our permission! more

Great guys 10/6/2011

The guys that showed up were good honest guys. They were late because the job before mine ran over. My move was small and the minimum allotted time is 3hrs plus 1hr traveling so I was definitely going to fit within that time frame. The move was professional as they used a lot of moving tape and blankets to wrap my stuff. A small corner of my dresser was damaged but since it is Ikea furniture, I don't blame them. They worked hard and we still ended about 15 minutes early. Great crew. more

Our original movers never showed up on our agreed dates, we were stuck and needed to move out asap and started calling other company on friday for emergency pick up next morning at latest on saturday. Every company no answers or no available movers for the date of saturday. new tenants moving in on sunday so we have no choice but to move on saturday, but could find no rental trucks either. Principle Moving service booked us for emergency service for saturday pick up and driver Slav and Alex showed up in the afternoon on saturday. price was ok but they did a great move for us and on the next day without notice so it was very appreciate. they took apart bed frame and TV stand and wrapped everything carefully. Very happy we found Principle moving and will recommend them to every colleague that tells us they are moving. more

We are fans of these guys! 9/27/2011

We are fans of these guys! We used them for our move a couple weeks ago and couldn't be happier. I used another moving company a couple years ago and these guys were much much better. They showed up a little early for our 9 am time slot. They had the whole place loaded up, couch and bed shrink wrapped, misc. stuff that we ran out of boxes for packed in a little over an hour. The whole move took 3.5 hours. They originally estimated 4.5-5 hours so that helped. They were really close to the estimate. They offer a free estimate where they actually com out to your house and look at what you have. I would recommend doing that. It's free, it takes 20 minutes or less. They did a really great job. Fast, efficient, detail oriented. more
