Dental Plus Dental Were More Than Helpful 12/29/2010

I was visiting a friend in LA when a filling broke (awesome!). I ended up calling Dental Plus and they were more than helpful. They managed to calm me down (not an easy task), and assured me I would have plenty of time to enjoy my weekend before getting my filling repaired by my dentist in the Bay Area! more

Great improvement 12/27/2010

I have been going to Dental Plus for about 2 years now. The program that they have implemented has improved my gum problems. I have seen many dentists over the years and this has been the first time a dentist has been able t correct my deep pockets and i have seen great improvement in my gum issues. I only wish i have started going to them 10 years ago. more

Staff Goes Out Of Their To Please Patients 12/24/2010

there's one person I'd like to single out of the whole bunch who's been a God send . . . . And that's Carmen Zavala. She set up my payment plans and was able to accommodate my financial situation. Yes, Dental Plus is pricey; there's no doubt about that, but because I was having so much ""work"" done, she really went out of her way to arrange an affordable plan for me. In a nut shell, I would never have been able to get my teeth back on track if it weren't for Carmen. She totally rocks! more

Accomodating To Patients Needs And Wants 12/24/2010

They did not try to sell me all of the crap that my previous dentist had. They always go over everything that they suggest and even let you know what they feel is not totally necessary. If it weren't for this place, I would probably still be avoiding the dentist. But instead, I have kept all of my regular appts since finding this place and even look forward to going! Oh, and you really can't beat your dentist finding you headphones for your ipod so you can listen to music while theydrills away at your teeth! more

Extremely Unethical, Agree Positive reviews are mostly fake! 12/15/2010

Terribly unethical administration, completely overcharges for everything, cares for nothing more than emptying your wallet, will try to con or trick you into all manner of services you do not want or need, charges you for services you have never even received, and milks your insurance for EVERYTHING you have got!! Watch out NOT to pay up front for anything... you will NEVER get your money back. more

Positive reviews of this place are unlikely to be real. 12/14/2010

Don't go to this place. They'll overcharge you for everything. They'll try to ""sell"" you things you don't need and sell you services that are most profitable. Wanted to take my daughter to get two fillings. Of course that wouldn't cost too much and insurance would likely cover the majority of the costs. They instead wanted to charge more than $2000 for Anesthesia.\r \r Do not go here. I instead too my daughter to a pediatric dentist in Alhambra. Everything was covered by Delta. Dental Plus is worst than taking your kid to the car dealership. I suspect they'd try to sell you a ""Lease"" if they could. more

Quick and painless 11/29/2010

My wisdom teeth extractions by Dr. Farid were quick and painless. Experienced no swelling and was back on solids within a couple of days. Dr. Adrianne was also great! I had an overall great experience. more

Friendly and caring 11/9/2010

I absolutely hate going to the dentist (I know no one really loves it but I am so nervous/anxious about it that I dread it), but Dr. Friedman totally put me at ease. He has such a friendly and caring demeanor and constantly makes sure you are doing okay throughout your procedures. I had a root canal and although that kind of stinks to begin with, be he made sure Dr. Khalil was gentle with me.They even called the next day to see how I was doing. more

Dr. Hunt, who performed my bone-graph procedure is not only a great periodontist, but he's truly passionate about his work. He's up on new procedures, and he's patient in explaining things in simple terms. And more importantly he's never used ""fear tactics"" to persuade me. (-: more

this place seems to be really cool. Very professional 9 to 5 type of joint. Pretty nurses or dental assistants. I chose this place from insurance from work. Last place I thought over charged me for medication they didn't told me wasn't included in my PPO plan. So this is my HMO even though they are independant dentists. more

My hygenist is the best on the planet. She ensures that I'm always comfortable, explains everything to me, smiles and is very friendly. Most importantly, she took her time and did a very thorough job. more
