Best

I have been in contact w/Precision Tune regarding car repairs for 6 - 7 years and have been very pleased w/the service they offer and their care and treatment of a 1997 Crown Vict...

Worst

Needs to improve on customer satisfaction inregards to overall total! Pros: null Cons: null

Worst customer service ever! 9/21/2011

Good: nothing. Bad: That they "fixed" my car and told me it was SAFE to drive back to NY when it clearly wasnt. Went to Lloyds AFTER spending 500 in brakes only to find out that the frame was cracked! I went back to get a refund and they REFUSED!! I asked to speak with the owner and the owner refused to talk with me and told the manager that he would not refund my money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Improvements: Customer service, technical diagnosis. Other: horrible place to get your car fixed BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. more

Unnecessary Repairs - Unethical 12/17/2010

Good: My first impression of the business over the phone: fair mechanics, fair prices.. Bad: Being lied to. Knowing that they had no problem quoting $1300 in unnecessary repairs. Pushy warranty sales.. Improvements: New management. Honest mechanics. Truthful people trying to earn business by doing quality work at a fair price, instead of scamming first time customers to make a quick buck.. Other: Initially came in for alignment service since I noticed uneven tire wear. Alignment warranties pushed on me (4 times before even dropping the keys off). They quoted me 1300 in ball joint repairs. 2nd and 3rd opinion from other shops said ball joints did not need to be replaced. Precision tune guys assured me that I'd be back once I got the other opinions. Cocky/non-friendly attitude, Blatant lying, dishonest team. Do yourself a favor, pay the extra 10 to $20 for better service, and fewer headaches.. more

Unneeded Repairs 6/27/2005

I had my vehicle's brakes completely redone at Precision Tune one year ago. They started making noises after 12,000 miles so I had them re-evaluated again at Precision Tune and was told that they needed to be completely replaced on all 4 tires for another $600+. I received two second opinions and was told that the products initially used were of very poor quality. They also said that only 2 wheels needed replacement, the other two were able to be ground down because they were still in good shape. I was also told at Precision Tune that I needed transmission and radiator work at this time. This too was evaluated for second opinions, and was told there was no need for at least another year. I feel that Precision Tune was just trying to take me for more money. They recommended unneeded services, and gave no other options for service. more
