Yes, the tables are lined with brown packing paper.
Yes, there's an ATM within 6"" of the door.
Yes, the place isn't much to look at, and gives off a 'neighborhood bar' feel more than that of a gourmet restaurant.
However, before turning away in disgust for a swankier place, actually sit down and have a taco before you change your mind. Besides, where else are you going to get tacos anywhere near this quality at 2am on a weekday? Besides, it took you this long to find a parking spot anyway.
This was the first time I ever liked the food so much I requested seconds of something. The chicken tacos were definitely my favorite for the night. The prices are very reasonable, even on the late night menu (Which is offered from 11pm to 2:30am). Thursdays, however, can save you a fortune! They do HALF OFF their late night menu on Thursdays. We had five tacos between two people, queso dip, and two sodas, and our bill was only $15, and registered as a $10.50 savings. Wow! I am definitely going to put my annoyance with the loud drunk wench at the bar aside and try this place again sometime, perhaps when they're offering the full menu during the day, or during their Lunch weekend specials from 1pm.
Pros: the incredible food, the thursday late night prices
Cons: the lack of anything but cheap bar ambience, parking issues
