Just had my car serviced by the guys at Precision Automotive. What a great crew. The service was fantastic, they made me feel right at home. I felt as though I could trust them from the get go. Completely Unethical 10/7/2011

Not to be trusted. They replaced the wrong part and it didn't fix the problem, so they tried to tell me that it was a ""process of elimination"" - at my expense. I took it to the dealer and they knew what the problem was in 2 minutes, just by the symptoms. If I went to the dealer first it would have saved me $400 and a part I didn't need to replace. more

A little Secret....Call them when it's slow and you cannot beat the price. I promise....I called them when they were slow and called with a price on some services...they price matched very low prices for services...you check it out..that's all I will say. Unethical! 8/18/2011

To Precision Tune management: How about my wife taking our Toyota Sienna to your shop on August 16, 2011?referred by Costco--to fix a broken lug nut on the rear left wheel? My wife drove the van there safely without any problem. After the job was done, my wife drove home (with the kids) and she experienced a lot of problems including the rear left wheel making loud noise while driving, and the van hardly moving at times. I had to go home (from work) early to test it. While driving, the rear left wheel making loud noise. Sometimes, I stopped at Stop signs and can hardly move forward and it made very loud noise; I had to change to R (reverse) in order to move forward. It was very unethical that you guys put a lot of risk on my wife and kids. I had to drive it to Toyota Poway to get it fixed. more

They claim they are experts, and that they don't replace parts that don't need to be, but their negligence cost me close to a thousand dollars more than it would have if they knew what they were doing. more

Defintely the Dealership Alternative !! 3/16/2011

I called from one of the local Dealerships to get a price on the repairs & preventative maintenance services I needed on my vehicle............they gave me up-front costs to the repairs I needed. They were less expensive over-all and I liked the way the Management told me the way it was with the status of my vehicle (Life left/Condition). I would much rather be told straight out about my car than to be told what I wanted to hear. I noticed they have efficient Technicians. The over-all vibe of this Repair Shop was a breath of fresh air. I have been to many and this is one of the best over-all. Check for yourself..... more

BEWARE 2/5/2011

Came in for some routine work and was told I needed a major repair.A couple things they said didnt add up.I didnt tell them I worked for a large oil change chain for a time and know a few things.I took it somewhere else, just blocks away,and it was a $60 fix.What they attempted is worse than a street mugging in my book.If you find yourself there and your told you need major repair get second opinion.Better yet,why even go there.Since then Ive had some friends who are long time poway residents say"" everybody knows their crooks""At a time of war and economic hardship for our country I dont know how they can do this. more

Great place to get fixed 8/14/2009

These are conscientious guys who do their best to give honest assessments and estimates. I was tired of other shops without my interests at heart and these guys repaired a number of errors made elsewhere. I've been a customer for 5 years, and my wife and daughters independently take their cars there too. Our oldest car had unanticipated (under-estimated) work and other things that went bad afterwards; but I think that is to be expected. This is the best auto repair/maintenance shop that I've found in the region. Pros: Conscientious workmanship Cons: Not the cheapest more

Do not trust their estimate of work needed. Get a second opinion. We were given an estimate of several thousand dollars. A second estimate at another shop determined we did not need any work done whatsoever.\r Beware! more

RACKET!!! 1/28/2009

I went in for some front end work. They said they couldn't do anything before they sold me tires and fixed everything on the truck bumper to bumper. When i declined they charged me 50 bucks for an ""alignment fee"". Took it to Mason's Auto Clinic in IB, long drive but well worth it. Bad Business, BEWARE!!!!!
