Can't beat 4 bucks...always fresh ingredients. Previous reviewers have posted that the sandwiches are small...they are smaller than some, but I find them plenty filling. If not, make a combo with chips and be sure to grab one of their fabulous Oatmeal Raisen cookies. I particularly love the meatball, chicken salad and the wreck... more

Yummy sandwiches 11/30/2006

I really liked the sandwiches made at Potbelly's. And for only $4 each! Great deal. You have a great many options for what to put on them, and best of all you can get smoothies and ice cream here too. They'll give you a cup of free water if you don't want the soda. The decor is fun and old-school style. more

Potbelly Sandwich Works 4/10/2006

The sandwiches here are fairly decent. I’m not a big fan of the place but it is enjoyable. I don’t crave their items but the food does taste pretty good. The sandwiches here are kind of small so if you are very hungry this might not be the best place. The prices are very cheap so this is a plus. more

Maybe I just don't like sandwiches... 4/4/2006

Personally, I don't think that the sandwiches at potbelly is necessarily worth the raves. It is fairly cheap and as compared to Subway which is right around the corner, it is a better deal / sandwich. There is also a Five Guys for burgers and a Quiznos a couple of blocks away if you are looking for cheap dining options. In my opinion, with the number of family owned ethnic restaurants in the area, there are more interesting places to eat. more

that's a good sandwich! 10/13/2005

Dang, I really love a good sandwich. And potbelly makes them. They’re with just the right amount of filling (which is high end and fresh), and their bread is terrific to boot! It’s a great place to go if you forgot to take your lunch to work… or it might give you excuses to ‘forget’. more

great sandwiches 9/8/2005

i love potbellys sandwiches. they have great toppings and they toast and make the sandwich right in front of you. this is kind of like a subway except the food is better but the portions at potbelly are smaller than at subway but also much cheaper and very much better. more

Great sandwiches 8/26/2005

I love love love Potbelly sandwiches. They are smaller than what you get at other sandwhich shops, but also cheaper! I can never finish my footlong Subway, but a Potbelly sandwich is perfect. They are also very tasty. They make the sandwich right in front of you, so you can choose your toppings and everything, and then put it in a toaster. They also stock some great local sodas, which is fun. I don't work near one but I hear they get insane during the lunch hour. You can call ahead and put an order in and pick it up. This location is right across from the Gallery Place Chinatown metro stop. more
