good place to eat in the CC mall, outdoor seating isn't the best since its either too cold or not sunny enough (due to over hang). But service is good and food is good as well. more

Editorial review from Citysearch 11/23/2012

This corporate whorehouse is hostile to bicyclists. I parked my bike locked to a handrail for less than half an hour just to, upon returning, catch a Westfield employee in the act of trying to steal it by picking the U-lock . When confronted the thief gave an excuse of the shopping center's manager ordering him to . There is no sign of any kind within line of sight posted indicating bicycles are unwelcome, nor any bicycle racks on the block. Moreover,\r a few feet away another employee , who has seen me parking , either a valet or a traffic regulator, haven't made a peep objecting to parking the bicycle. When asked whether the other clown gave the tip that a bicycle was ready for stealing, the thief insisted that the general manager made him to, Scandalous. Take your money elsewhere.\r \r P.S. There seem to be no locksmith registered with this shopping mall indicating an oddly kept in-house lockpick artist. One wonders if these punked peasants run a bicycle theft operation utilizing the pretext and the plausible deniability that comes with it while luring suckers in with the veneer of fake class.\r more

My favorite mall, so much to do there! I love that the AMC also provides ticket seating! more

my fav theatre and mall 5/25/2011

This is the least crowded luxury mall and theatre for sure. They have an excellent food section with a new ramen place that's worth a try. The movie theatre offers validation even if you don't watch a movie or go to the concierge if you bought enough things for totally free parking. more

High End Mall 10/7/2010

It has some of the higher end stores in los angeles. Parking used to be a nightmare but now they have sensors to guide you where to park. Also, the food court is one of the best mall food courts that I have been to. more

Great bakery for bread lovers 5/25/2010

Great selection of authentic french bread: fresh rustic bread, french baguette, pain de mie... that they slice for you. Their croissants, chocolate croissants and brioches are also amazing. It's better to order the bread from them a couple of days before big holidays since they are usually out of stock really fast.\r It's also a nice spot in the mall when you just want to take a break from shopping and drink a coffee with a pastry. Pros: Great selection more

New & Shiny 2/1/2010

Since their renovation, the AMC has become a big contender in drawing out us city folk to their fancy theatre. Just like the Arclight and Landmark, you can choose where you want to sit to make sure you get the perfect view. Hungry after the show? Head over to one of the best food courts LA has to offer for some delicious mall eats - Coral Tree Express? Don't mind if I do! Pros: New seats Cons: $5 Parking more

Century City is one of the best shopping malls in LA. 11/12/2009

Century City Mall is not a mall that I visit often because I live in the valley however it is one of my favorite places to shop in LA. I prefer Century City to the Grove because of its modern design. The food court has restaurants that you wouldn't normally find in other malls and the stores range from Macy's and Sephora to Louis Vuitton and Tiffany & Co. Pros: I never have a problem finding parking. more

Great Mall 10/26/2009

Westfield Century City is a great mall, with lots to do. Go get dinner, go shopping, then check out a movie at the HUGE multi-plex AMC theatre! I've been going to this mall for 20 years and it gets better and better each year Pros: Lots of stores, open air, great food court, awesome theatre Cons: Tough when it rains more

Beautiful at night 10/9/2009

The shops are nice, but majority are high end companies. Free validated parking is always a plus. I really like watching a movie there, but I rarely go considering movie tickets are ridiculous. Overall, it's a great place to just hang out and people watch. The renovation was well worth it and it's always nicely decorated. Pros: Atmosphere Cons: Expensive more

They Lost Us as Customers 8/19/2009

While we have had a good experience with Dr. Kunitake, the management on the optometry side of this store is ingracious, self-serving, and intractable. Three members of my family have spent big bucks there for eye exams, contacts and frames in the past. When my daughter wanted to switch to contacts I brought her back there. After the optometrist on duty said she only needed to have a check-up for contacts because it had been less than a year since her last exam, the management insisted she must have a full exam for twice the $$$$. However, the contacts exam was already completed by the optometrist who said her prescription had not changed and that the fitting was fine. Still the management insisted she have a full exam even though it was just eight months since her last one. When I said we would return for the full exam when it had been one year, the guy behind the counter again insisted even though the optometrist had said in the exam room that it was not necessary. I believe the op more

Great place for FOODIES 4/30/2009

I went to Breadbar Century City before catching a movie last week and the food was really great! We had a bread basket which came with three spreads.Their cheese bread was probably the best. For my entree, I had the Vandouvan Lamb Curry which was YUMMIIIII definitely something to try. My husband had the Bentobar which basically comes with a bit of everything; he got a soup, salad, tower sandwich and dessert served on one wooden board. To our surprise they had a wine and beer bar with a decent selection. The decor is modern and original and the service is friendly. This is definitely a place I will come back to. Pros: Best Bread in Town Cons: No full bar more

Great Place! 12/15/2008

I really like this shopping center. It is one of my preferred places to go. They have many outlets for food, entertainment and shopping. I personally love the Borders and the AMC which is two floors. The atmosphere is quiet, serene, and architecturally very beautiful. Pros: Ambience, Parking, Service Cons: nothing more

Breadbar 12/11/2008

This place has pretty decent food. They're salad and sandwiches are good. But I don't think the price fits the taste. Too expensive for little portions. more

comfortable theatre 12/10/2008

I love your theatre but do not go there more than one a year because you show only big blockbuster movies. more

Good date spot 11/18/2008

If you're waiting for a movie at the theaters, this is a great place for you and your date to pick up a quick meal... Nice, sleek, (romantic) and modern decor, attentive service, and nice ambiance. Downsides are that the food is pretty basic, and expensive for that matter. 3 stars. Pros: Great for a quick meal before a movie Cons: A little pricy, food just ok more

Nice theather, offerign a wide selection of movies 7/17/2008

The theater's shop offers an extensive selection of snacks. The halls were all tidy and provided with comfy seats. We have seen Hancock and I loved the L.A. vibe in the background of this movie and Will Smith embodied an angeleno pretty good. more

Theater with an old Hollywood feel 6/1/2008

What I like best about the movie theaters at the Century City mall is the atmosphere. The grand entrance hall with famous film quotes on the floor and its mural of movie stars gives the theater a very old-Hollywood feel. The snack stand has a good variety of sugary treats, popcorn and other selections. The stadium seating and sound systems inside the theaters make for a pleasant viewing experience. There are plenty of restaurants in the mall to dine at before or after your movie and stores to shop at if you end up having extra time on your hands. In terms of ticket price, Century City is on par with other chain theaters in the area. There's hardly any charge for parking with a validation from the theater. more

Upscale movie theater 5/16/2008

My friend and I missed the showing we wanted to buy tickets for, but it worked out great because we ended up just walking around the upscale Century City shopping center while we waited for the next showing. The theater itself is pretty lavishly decorated with an enormous mural of Old Hollywood stars and movie quotes, as well as an illuminated staircase which was way more fun to use than the escalators. The parking lot was a little confusing because it's so big and there are so many entrances, so remember which one you came in from. And make sure to validate your parking ticket before you leave the theater (first three hours are free)! Pros: Decor Cons: Parking more
