I went there with a fairly large group. Two families for a total of 14 people. The photographers were fantastic with kids, courteous to everybody, and very professional. We were very happy with the finished pictures. The photographer took the time and sat down with everybody to show us our options, we were never rushed and they were never rude. I took 1 star away because, immediately after the pictures were taken, we realized that we forgot to take single pictures of one of the members. We had to pay an additional 75 dollars for their picture, which is the price of a whole new package. It seemed a bit ridiculous that they would charge another 75 dollars on top of 180 dollars spent on the group package. They were not busy and nobody was in any of the rooms. Other than this, the whole experience was fantastic. I'd recommend anybody go there for any occasion...just make a checklist of the pictures you'd like to take and cross them off so you don't forget one! Pros: Fantastic staff, work great with kids Cons: Not considerate of how much money their packages cost. more

BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE! 11/26/2008

The first time we visited Portrait Innovations, we were so dissapointed when we walked out. Not because of anything they had specifically done, but because the pictures just didn't turn out like I had hoped. After being upset for an entire weekend, I called and Jill, the manager, asked us to come in for a reshoot. When we arrived, she was so sweet and accomodating, took great new pictures and then switched our old pictures out for the new ones we loved at no charge. She even threw in a free sheet that would have cost us $15.00. I can't tell you how great I feel that this store never wants you to pay for something you don't love. And they want you to come back and try again just to make sure you're happy with your photos. Five stars all the way! One sheet of any pose is $15\r 3 Sheets of the same pose start @ $24.95\r black and white is a special effect. if you dont purchase atleast 3 poses with 3 sheets of each of the 3 poses black and white cost $15 extra.\r your photographer didnt lie to you, your just to stupid to understand more

I was so disappointed (to put it mildly). We were not there during Christmas or any other peak time. We dealt with robotic employees who encouraged us (as fast as they could ) to buy the variety of pictures in a package and ensured us that we could get extra sheets of the pictures we really wanted at anytime in the future for a small fee. Seeing the fee schedule - we believed them and bought what we estimated to be right. When we went back for more - we discovered that clicking the button ""black and white"" changed the price of the picture almost 150%!! Can someone tell me why clicking a button and saving on the color print costs 1 and half times the cost of color prints???? I do not remember the exact amounts. All I know is we thought we could get an additional 8x10 or 2 5x7's for around $11. I think it eneded up being closer to $25 for one sheet because we wanted it black and white (which is how our originals were ordered). We did not get additional sheets on principle and have been so bummed at the loss and the deception. (they knew we only ordered black and white - why tell us the price for not black and white??? and why the huge difference in cost???). We felt the company was deceptive and for the cost (we spent over $250) we would never use this company again and encourage our friends to go someplace else. Would you do business with these people? 2/3/2008

The company does not care about you or it's employees at all. It's all about the money. They want to get the most people in and out as possible, as fast as they can - thinking that will make them more money. Over Christmas we worked our butts off going 12 hours days with only a 15 minute break. Its not really the manager's fault though, the regional manager was forcing him to double book appointments. None of us had ever worked a Christmas season before so we were in over our heads. By lunchtime my eyes would be bloodshot and I would get migranes every weekend. One girl went to the doctor and had several stomach problems from the stress. It might not have been so stressful if we didn't have to keep unattainably high sales averages. Because of the $9.95 special, we all got letters for Christmas stating if we could not get our averages up withn a month (none of us did though they wew all within $10 of what they should have been at the time), they were ""letting us go."" And they did. Look at the economy... people do not have money to spend on a ton of pictures right now. And to be honest... the $9.95 gives most people enough as it is. Speaking of honesty, they want us to rush the customers through the selling process so you don't know whats going on and trick you into spending more money than you want. Several managers from other stores tried to ""train"" me to do this, but I didn't think it was right. There was one that would even add extra sheets into the customers cart if they weren't paying attention. If the photos aren't the greatest... you might have had someone that is new - they go through employees like crazy! They fired one guy because he updated his resume online and they took it as he was seeking other employment, or someone was getting married and told to keep quiet about moving after the wedding because they would immediatly get rid of her too. You all can make your own decisions as to wether or not you want to do business with a company like that. more
