Wonderful Jewelry Experience 8/8/2011

I went into Porcello’s to get my wife a bracelet for our anniversary. Admittedly, I was a little nervous and intimidated - it’d been years since I was last in a jewelry store and I’d figured getting the right engagement ring had just been blind luck. It was great to have my anxiety completely blown away by a staff that - dare I say - cared about me as a customer. They knew my budget and took the time to work with me to find a bracelet that my wife absolutely loved. I hope my wife isn’t expecting this kind of purchase regularly, but I know that next time, I will darn sure be shopping at Porcello’s. more

Like going to a car dealership 7/7/2011

Be-ware, first comes the friendly intro's trained to make you feel all warm and fuzzy, then they start, like a used car, they find all that is wrong with your jewelry, and proceed to devalue. It doesn't matter if your piece is worth 800.00 or 8,000.00 the magic 300.00 to 400.00 for your item is what they offer once they've made you feel your valued item is simply unworthy of them, and they could make whatever you have for a fraction. They are pompus Thieves. more

Porcello Jewelers 4/27/2011

I just bought a beautiful bracelet for my niece who is making her first communion at the end of the month. It's going to be her first "real" piece of jewelry and I'm so excited to give it to her! Porcello's was so nice and easy to work with. I had no idea what to buy and they worked with me to show me several options that were age appropriate and within the budget I had. Everyone there is smiling and friendly. Very nice experience. Can't wait to go back for a little something for me... LOL more

Porcello's Rocks! 4/27/2011

Recently engaged to the girl I should have married in my 20's. She wanted an "heirloom" type ring which was a bit challenging. A couple of friends told us about Porcello. We went in with high hopes and were extremely satisfied with their service. The sales people are knowledgeable, friendly and not pushy. When we could not find the exact ring, their worked with us to design a ring that was perfect - and a ring for me to match. Top notch! more

Professional 2/27/2011

Porcello's was very professional. I brought in some items to have evaluated and was offered a very fair price in comparison to the other locations I visited. The staff was very kind and helpful. more

HUGE SCAMMERS 2/18/2011

This place is the BIGGEST RIP OFF!!! Scam artists!! I took my $8K ring in to sell and they offered me $350.00. The salesman Shirly or some girly name like that went through all the tactics. "oh this ring has huge flaws", "its not really a 1ct it's actually a 1/2 ct", "you were ripped off when you bought it", "diamonds are worthless and I can't even give yellow gold away". Oh really??? Then why are all your cabinets full of yellow gold and diamond jewelry? They will tell you ANYTHING to buy your jewelry at a low price. They are car salesmen who can't be trusted. Porcello was a huge dissapointment! I will NEVER go there again and I would NOT recommend this place to anyone! more

I went into Porcello Jewelers and had the best experience I've ever had with a jeweler. I sold some of my old jewelry and got a great price for them, and stuck around and bought some new items. Looking forward to going back next time I need something. more

This is a wonderful store. They have some excellent values--particularly for Bellevue. They beat blue nile considerably on most items. more

Horrible service! 12/18/2010

The first time I went in after getting a diamond appraised at a different company, I wanted to sell the diamond. The man I talked to seemed pretty nice, however offered a VERY low amount. I understood this and took it as him just doing his job. Told him I would talk to the owner that I was selling it for then get back to him. Once I made my way back later int he week, he told me that I must be mistaken at the price we had 'agreed' on earlier and that he wanted to buy it for even less. I wasn't happy but kept my composure and was nice. Told him I just had to check with the owner to see if the new amount was OK. While I walked away and was on the phone in a quiet corner of the store, the guy gets out of his chair and yells across the store! He said he didn't need to buy the diamond and he had business that he could be doing instead of dealing with 'this'. He was a complete prick. I collected the diamond and we left. The guy was trying to cheat me out of the the cost of the diamond so he could make almost 400% mark up. I understand They have to make money and expected a low ball deal but I might as well been throwing the diamond out the freaking window! more

Can't tell "fake" from REAL Cartier 10/29/2010

From growing up in the area, I knew Porcello had a good solid reputation. Things sure have changed!\r \r I brought in several pieces and one was a white 18k gold Cartier ring with black and white diamonds in a pave setting. I have moved a few times and the original certificate for this ring has been lost. The "appraiser" took one quick look and said- It's a fake; a good one, but a fake. I was stunned. Even though I wasn't there when it was purchased, I was 100% certain it was genuine. Without the certificate I had no proof.\r \r He went on to say the Cartier 'always' stamps their logo inside the pieces and this one was engraved (and not very well, he claimed). An older gentleman also looked at it but couldn't say one way or the other if it was real or fake. \r \r I was also insulted by the review of the other items I brought in. They seemed to be genuinely surprised that my Jaeger-LeCoultre 18k gold watch was real. They made me feel like I brought in a bunch of paste with one real ge more
