The first time I went in after getting a diamond appraised at a different company, I wanted to sell the diamond. The man I talked to seemed pretty nice, however offered a VERY low amount. I understood this and took it as him just doing his job. Told him I would talk to the owner that I was selling it for then get back to him. Once I made my way back later int he week, he told me that I must be mistaken at the price we had 'agreed' on earlier and that he wanted to buy it for even less. I wasn't happy but kept my composure and was nice. Told him I just had to check with the owner to see if the new amount was OK. While I walked away and was on the phone in a quiet corner of the store, the guy gets out of his chair and yells across the store! He said he didn't need to buy the diamond and he had business that he could be doing instead of dealing with 'this'. He was a complete prick. I collected the diamond and we left. The guy was trying to cheat me out of the the cost of the diamond so he could make almost 400% mark up. I understand They have to make money and expected a low ball deal but I might as well been throwing the diamond out the freaking window!
