Ponemah Veterinary Hospital

I have had good and bad experiences. On the one hand, I had a cat who had not been completely spayed by a previous vet, so she was going into heat. I brought her to Ponemah at my vet's recommendation and the vet did a great job, operated and took care of the problem. \r \r On the other hand, I called them a few years later and asked how much it would cost to get my older dog's teeth cleaned. The person who answered the phone flipped out, wouldn't give me any information, and was giving me a hard time about needing to have my dog examined. I would have liked to have brought my dog in there; he had a condition which proved fatal and I would have liked to have had him checked out and evaluated, and to be fair, this was the office staff, not the vet, but I haven't called them since. more

Dr. Edwards and her staff are amazing! We've brought cats and rats to them and they are always just as friendly to our pets whether they are seeing a little rodent or our big fluffy (but dumb) cat. When our cat, Wiggum, had to have cassette tape removed from his intestines and mouth, Dr. Edwards was able to do the surgery right away and saved my fluffy-brained cat's life. When one of our rats needed an emergency spay she was able to do so and returned a very healthy (and grateful) mama rat to a litter of babies and saved their lives as well as the mama's.\r \r I find the services a little expensive, but the quality of care that our pets have received make the cost worthwhile and the staff is awesome, the office is spacious and spotless and Dr. Edwards truly cares about the animals that she sees. more

This group has their act together. If we had transferred our pet from those other people to them sooner he would be with us today...sorry little buddy. Each person and their pets are real individuals here..and everyone gets the best of care..including the owners.. The doctor is top drawer and the staff is excellent. more
