I recently ate at Pompeii for the first time in months, and loved this place growing up as a kid. I was good friends with the previous owner Nick, and we shared our share of laugh...

A gem of Italian restaurants! 11/21/2008

Don't let the strip mall exterior fool you... this is wonderful, down home Italian cooking at its best! Nick the owner / impresario will entertain you as well! A gem with both northern and southern Italian at reasonable prices and terrific service. Bravissimo! more

Wonderful Italian! 11/17/2008

The first thing you notice about Pompeii is how unlikely its location is: a nondescript strip mall. Don't let that stop you from enjoying this gem of a restaurant. The owner, Nick L. is funny, gracious, exuberant and entertaining. He's also been in the business long enough to know when to amuse you and when to leave you alone. Italian art songs and Sicilian love ballads play discretely from the sound system. Nick often sings with them--a hoot! Then there's the food--both northern and southern are equally more

A great place for a Little Italy! 4/2/2007

Pompei has been in Terramere Plaza for more than twenty years. Nick is more than friendly, and his children (adults, all) are friendly and continue the tradition he began! The food is authentic, our family especially enjoys pizza and lasagna. We are very happy to live close by, and enjoy eating there or bringing it home! more

Cool and casual 4/27/2006

Pompeii is a cool and casual restaurant that you can go to with your family, friends, or even with your date. Basically you come in here give your order and get a table number. Then you get your drinks, go to your table, put your number on the stand, and wait for your food to come to you. They have pizzas, salads, pastas, bread, gelato, pies, cakes, brownies, cookies, and other type of food here for a good price and they all taste great. more
