I checked with a few other companies about towing my car from Chicago out to Lake Bluff and the few services which did answer the phone were not very intrested in towing my car this far and the others were just so high with the rates i choose to use Planet towing. The dispatcher was very helpful and explained to me why they charge what they do and a break down in their pricing. Unlike the other which had just gave me random prices. Great service more

Planet Towing Saved the Day .I have AAA roadside membership so I called out AAA first to tow my Porsche and when the triple AAA towing guy comes out the first thing he asks is that I sign a Damage release waiver before he will tow my Porsche. Well I'm not crazy and since I no longer had any faith in the quality of service I was going to get from the Triple AAA service I refused and told the driver to leave. I decided to contact my mechanic Al at Chicago Performance and Tuning and see what he suggested. Al told me to call Planet Towing he said he has used this company for the past 6 years and never had a problem ever. Ray who was the driver from Planet Towing took the time to put my car on his Flatbed truck since my 911 is very low to the ground. He also ensured me that he drop it off in the same condition picked it up in without any additional damage Planet Towing's driver was very honest and hardworking. definitely, the kind of person you want on scene when your car's out of commission. Thank's Raymond I will be recommending your towing company to all my friends on and off the track. more

I called Planet Towing to help me while I was broken down in a downtown Chicago parking garage. I had seemed to be running out of options as to what to do with my car because no companies had a truck low enough to fit inside the garage. I called Planet and they said they had just the right size truck to fit inside the garage. The driver said he would arrive to my location in about 1hour and he did. The truck was small enough to drive up all 5 levels of the garage and to then tow my car to the dealer. I'm glad I used your service and will make sure to pass out your cards to all my friends and family. more

What a Superb flatbed towing service Planet Towing is. I was in the process of traveling out of town to head up to crown point for the weekend and managed to hit something in the road which blew out 2 of my tires and left me stuck on the side of the road with traffic flying past at god only knows what speeds I must have called about 20 numbers to see who was around or near the I 94 and the Torrance ave exit. I was unable to find any help. I called a family number and asked if they could locate me some numbers from companies close to home and that was what they did . The very first number they gave me was Planet towing and that was the last number I needed. Their dispatcher asked me a few questions about where I was located and where I needed to have my car towed back to and I informed him that I lived on the north side of Chicago. and he said that is great and he would have a driver out to me in about 1 hour. Now I was already 2 hours into be stuck on the side of the road and was terrified I would be struck from behind from some crazy driver trying to avoid whatever I had hit. I called to check to see how much longer it would be and they told me to hold on a second and he would contact his driver. He called the driver and he said 15 minutes longer Which lifted a huge burden of my chest knowing that I had someone coming to take me and my belongings home. The driver Matt showed up and loaded my car and aided me into the cab of his truck. once loaded the ride back was very pleasant and the driver was very knowledgeable about my car and tires and said he had worked for a tire shop many years prior and directed me to a shop close to where I lived who would help me with my new tires. Overall My weekend seemed to be shot just like my 2 tires but I was more pleased to have made it home in the company of a very nice driver with a great looking rig. Hey peeps... I used this service on the 15Th and enjoyed it very much considering it was a dead car related situation... However enjoyable that might be. I was reassured by the dispatcher that everything was going to be alright which seemed to be what I needed to hear after having some homeless swine come along and have me worried it was something very expensive such as a new motor. The person on the phone told me not to listen to the homeless man and just wait for the driver to show up which I did. When he arrived he asked me what the car was doing and I told him a series of click sounds and said no biggie i will have you on your way in no time. He opened the hood carried some small battery reader over and my car started up.. They charged me $ 85.00 because they said they sent a tow truck and not a service truck out so I would have to pay the truck rate. I know the tow was going to cost me much much more but I always thought of a jump start to be like $25 bucks or something. I guess times have changed since I last had a car jumped. I went home and went online to check pricing for jumps and out of 5 companies they were in the middle on pricing. I would use them again i would just make sure what service I needed first and have them send out the right truck for my situation. I found your company on my I phone and felt I should do your service the honor and be the fist to leave you a review since you provided me with a job well done. These people came out to pick me up and Damen and North ave and towed me to Kimbal and North ave for 75.00 which was a great deal since I had already checked around town. What made this service great was my junk of a car was stuck in a very small alley way and their truck was very large and would not fit. Without a complaint they pushed my car down the alley and towed it away and never once asked for a dime more then the quote was. I only mention this because the other services told me it would be a lot more if they had to push the car out and down the alley to their truck. These are good Honest and hard working towing drivers. I called them in the middle of the night when my range rover had a flat and they told me about 1 hour because there was one customer before me. I was in a area where itis not so pleasant at night and they arrived in about 35 minutes which was alot sooner then I thought. I could not change the tire due to having custom rims on there. I had them tow the truck to my home and was in bed fast asleep.Thanks for making my night a little less stressfull. Pros: Very nice customer Service and equipment. Cons: none that I could tell. They did what they said and I was very Happy more
