The best ever! 8/31/2010

The doctors and staff at PPH are truly the best! I have had a multiple cat household for many years and would not take my\r babies anywhere else unless absolutely necessary! They have not only seen me through heartache (losing my aged\r felines), but joy in seeing them thrive. This last Sunday I had to take my beloved 16 year old Himalayan to an emergency\r clinic and they couldn't diagnose her. On Monday morning I took her to PPH thinking she would have to be put down. Dr J\r diagnosed her immediately, and with the proper meds she is\r on the road to full recovery! The care and expertise given is\r priceless! more

Pinole Pet Hospital is Wonderful and caring staff!! 7/8/2009

The doctors and staff are wonderful. I have been going to PPH for many years now and they provide excellent service. I have dogs and cats that have all received loving care from the experienced staff. I wouldn't go anywhere else unless it was an after hours emergency! more

Test happy 8/5/2008

We're regular patients - called to see if we could get tablets to help our thirteen year old dog because his hips are weak. They wanted to see him, then they wanted to do a blood workup - something we'd just done a year ago. Bill came to $200. Of course they found the endocrine glands might (not certain) be a little off - hormone depletion would be pretty standard in an old dog - or an old person. They wanted us to bring him in to do a two hour blood work-up, stressing our dog and our finances even further. \r \r While we were there, the vet also wanted to do a blood work-up for kidney and liver function so he could prescribe anti-inflammatory drugs AFTER he said there appeared to be no inflammation. \r \r They seem to be nice enough people but we would like to get advice over the telephone when our dog isn't actually sick. more

ABSOLUTE BEST! 6/23/2008

I started taking my feline family to Pinole Pet Hospital over 10 yrs ago and swear I won't go anywhere else. Dr. Moll and Dr. Juracek have provided wonderful care during difficult times. Dr. Alexander is a fine addition to the staff as she exhibits the same care and concern I've come to expect. All of the Dr.'s explain in great detail the treatments and will call you at home to check on your pet as a follow-up. My kudos to the staff as well. The whole staff is like an extended family and treat you as such. I recommend them to anyone new to the area who has a pet and to anyone who listens. I never mind the wait during open clinic. The waiting room is usually full of friendly pets who can't wait to see their favorite Doc! more

My Favorite Vet!!! 4/26/2008

I have been taking my dogs to PPH for ten years. They care. They explain everything and take a lot more time with each dog than they probably should. Sometimes the wait is long, but it's only because they are spending as much quality time with other dogs as with yours when it's your turn. I trust them. And they are very open to referrals and second opinions. It's a wonderful place with very capable and caring staff. more

The Best Animal Hospital in the Bay Area 1/17/2008

My husband and I own a male Beagle, named Stymie. Since this is our "first" pet, we were sensitive and concerned as to the quality of Stymie's pet care. Dr. Moll and the entire staff at Pinole Pet Hospital are ABSOLUTELY THE BEST. They've taken care of Stymie's needs and provided first-class care and we could not be happier. I have on many occasions given unsolicited recommendations to individuals looking for quality pet care (even if they didn't ask)! Without a doubt, Pinole Pet Hospital is the very best - though they have one draw back - they don't take humans! We will NEVER take our animal(s) anywhere else. Why should we? more

15 year patron 4/5/2007

I have been going to Pinole Pet Hospital for 15 years. They have seen our pet family through the average visit to final goodbyes. They helped facilitate cremations of three of our pets and never failed to send sympathy cards hand written by staff. In two words: THEY CARE! Professional but laid back atmosphere you are likely to find a cat sleeping on the desk or a new puppy on the floor behind the counter. How can you not love a place that let's their employees bring in their new pet babies for everyone to share and love. more

Completely Satisfied 5/1/2006

This clinic was pretty inexpensive. They answered all of my questions in a complete and professional manner. It took me less than an hour's wait in and out of there as a drop-in, that's no time at all! They didn't offer me things I didn't need like odd vaccines and such. They helped me to take care of my cat in the best possible way. I definitely suggest them for all of your pet's needs! more

Wonderful staff 11/17/2005

Pinole Pet Hospital has a wonderful staff of kind hearted individuals. They love animals more than I do! Anyways, I take our cat to get her checkups and shots here. They always treat me with respect and provide me with excellent customer service. The building is pretty small but they get a lot of work done. more

Outstanding service 9/26/2005

Here at Pinole Pet Hospital you and your pet get A+ service. I've taken my cat here all the time to get her shots and checkups when I think something is wrong with her. I think I'm over protective with my cat but I lover her so much. The staff here are very knowledgeable in what they do and the vets are friendly and easy to speak with. It's a small pet hospital but they really have great service and a good staff. more

Great service 9/13/2005

I've gone here with my girlfriend to have her dog checked out a few times. The service is great here and very friendly. I was in the room with my girlfriend when the vet was discussing matters about her dog and he seemed very friendly and professional about his work. I would highly recommend this hospital. more

Pinole Pet Hospital 9/11/2005

The Pinole Pet Hosptial is a great little place located not far from the freeway with a small parking lot in front. The whole front of the building is a mural of animals and is difficult to miss. The vets there are wonderful, very knowledgeable and obviously love animals. I have taken my animals there a few times when I lived in the area and have always been happy with the professional service my animals and I have received. more

Great experience 8/20/2005

I took my dog here one time when he was attacked and bit with really deep wounds. The staff was well trained and came outside to check on my dog and brought him in for immediate attention. The staff is just great and really has people skills to make you feel comfortable and satisfied. They also explain everything you need to know about what they are going to do and what to do in the future. more

Editorial review from Insider Pages 1/5/2005

This vet facility provides very good service. Two doctors are present, as well as several well-trained vet techs. It's clean, bright, well-staffed. It's not the cheapest, but it is the best. They keep good records. Out of all the years I have brought various animals here for care, I have encountered only one surly front desk person. I've seen her be horrible to several people, not just me. However, everyone else, the doctors included are bright, friendly, smart and explain everything indetail, should you ask. There's even a side door to slip a dog through if you have a naughty one who can't behave in public. more
