i do like this place, but not as much as ce fiore! that place is better, more flavor/variety... anyway, i just dont get why people like the original flavor? does it taste like milk gone bad and then frozen? more

Over RATED Sour Gross YOUGURT 11/4/2008

Yozen Frogurt is way better and have flavors that actually taste good. Not like old milk and charge way too much for it.\r Overall the yogurt is horrible! Pros: they have good toppings and jip you on the yogurt (they make a hole in the middle, so your really getting half) Cons: over priced, tastes horrible, service people are confused more

Trust me... 10/2/2008

... get the Mochi! It's really good. You'll like it. Sometimes you hve to request it because they keep it under the counter! Pros: Mochi! more

Mixed review 8/10/2008

This is actually not about the one in west hollywood, just pinkberry in general...\r I was so excited when I heard pinkberry was opening close to me. When it opened, I went of course. I actually liked it. I tried the green tea, it was okay but got a regular with mango ad pineapple. I really liked it!!!!\r Problem...\r I'm not lactose intolerant, but my stomach hated it. I don't know if it is the bacteria? I even tried it again at starbucks with the sorbetto, which again, I loved. \r It didn't like me. \r I love the concept, love the fresh fruit. \r Hate that my stomach doesn't like it. Pros: Great concept Cons: My stomach didn't like the yogurt more

Never again....enough said... 7/7/2008

Never again...enough said...Went there after dinner, parking is terrible. matter of fact, we got a ticket for a red zone that our car was not even parked in. And they were out of most of there toppings. Just a craze..they will all be gone soon enough... more

They MESSED UP MY ORDER - how hard is it to make frozen yogurt? 6/30/2008

OK, so I tried Pinkberry like everyone else and can honestly say I was VERY disappointed. The line was long which is brutal in the hot Cali heat. Finally when you get it, the customer service was bad - it was like they were just trying to rush us through to get to the next order. Can anyone say hello? Can anyone smile? Maybe the workers arent happy there, because they were SO unfriendly. \r \r After the lack of customer service, they messed up my order!!! How hard is it to make a plain yogurt with strawberries and blueberries? they put blackberries on it instead. So then I had to wait for them to remake my order...which took forever. Did I get a ""sorry about that?"" Nope! It's the worst customer service ever!! Pros: can't think of any Cons: Long lines, bad customer service, messing up my order!!! more

Frozen sour cream anyone? 2/18/2008

Why anybody would wait in any kind of line for something that they could make at home by throwing some sour cream in the freezer for a few hours is beyond me. Oh, make sure not to add any sugar to that--they don't.\r And to pay for it is even worse. \r I think Pinkberry is like one of those fad diets that everyone does because everyone else is doing it.\r And we all know that LA is a purebred mecca of that type. I'm sure some celebrity went there a few times, took their picture with the owner, and everyone in Hollywood decided that, somehow, it tastes good. DEFINITELY getting your money's worth. Oh yeah, its overpriced, too.\r I love green tea and I love blueberry flavored yogurt, but Pinkberry manages to successfully ruin it. I guess the extra added sugar is essential in fro yo. No variety and choices that they do have are bland. Maybe if there were some butterfinger pieces or reeses cups to throw on top, there would be some flavor, but nope all you get is what seems to be fresh fruit (probably frozen, just well thawed, you know like MCDonald's). In fact, I think I would rather eat fro yo from McDonald's. Pinkberry does have the ""its good for you"" claim to make though. Except, when you're eating dessert-which is usually what any type of frozen treat is-would you sacrifice calories for flavor? I wouldn't.\r If you're looking for a sweet adventure, make it to Yogurtland (on Sunset). Pinkberry is more like a trip to your parents house...the scenery never changes, you always know what to expect, and it always seems to leave a sour taste in your mouth. more

Pinkberry versus Fruplosion 1/9/2008

I used to like Pinkberry until I discovered Fruplosion cafe inside the Fresh Fruit Bouquet company on 45th and Madison. They have a better tasting plain frozen yogurt and make parfaits with it, it is amazing! Some combos are the plain frozen yogurt from Frogurt with honey, walnuts and bananas. The do caramel , granola and apples to make an apple pie parfait. If you like Pinkberry you will LOVE Fruplosion. I am hooked and I went on their website they have locations opening all over the country. Oh I thought this was for a NYC Pinkberry. Well A Fruplosion is opening in Granada Hills soon too Pros: Has plain frozen yogurt, can be addicting Cons: Too Lemony compared to Frogurt and Fruplosion cafe more

There are waaay better frozen yogurt spots out there 12/21/2007

Pinkberry, the talk of the city,,, I swear have these people even TRIED other frozen yogurt places? I'm sorry but Pinkberry ranks kind of low compared to the rest of them.. I love forzen yogurt, I have tried many other spots, everywhere I go if I see a new one I will try it. Pinkberry had some of the FEWEST toppings I have seen, it reeks like milk in every location eeew, and their staff needs a lesson in friendliness. Sorry to say but Pinkberry is not all it's hyped to be. They only had plain and green tea yogurt when I went.. WTF? how can this big chain only have TWO flavors? boo.. Honeslty, the best frozen yogurt spot is Dolce Mango, the have about 30 toppings, give out free chocolate or caramel toppings and have about 8 diffent flavors including mango, green tea, rasberry, melon, ect. And it's delicious! Sorry Pinkberry, yea you might be good, but as for REAL frozen yogurt lovers like me who aren't just trend followers but actually care about the quality of the yogurt, you get 2 stars. :( Pros: pretty inside Cons: employees more

Unimpressive sour yogurt 11/24/2007

My friend dragged me here one afternoon. Granted, I'm more an ice cream person than yogurt person, so I'm biased. But the line was long. There was no parking (so I parked on the street -- instant parking ticket, yup). The guys behind the counter seemed more interested in socializing than serving customers. And to top it all off, the plain yogurt was sour. Even the fruit on top couldn't make up for it. I'll stick to my ice cream. Pros: Hard to find (you don't want to anyway) Cons: Storefront is too small, not enough seating, no parking more

Huge lines for Bland yogurt with good toppings 11/17/2007

Can someone please explain the appeal of this place to me!!! I kept hearing about how great Pink Berry was so I went to check it out. After a ridiculously long wait in an insanely long line I get up to the counter to find they only have 2 flavors of yogurt. Their bland and sour original yogurt and a green tea version. I had the original flavor and my friend had the green tea. His wasn't bad, but mine was like eating sour frozen water. There was no flavor to it at all except for the sourness. They do have good toppings, but whats the point of that if the yogurt you are putting them on is bad?! There are literally a million other frozen yogurt places and absolutely all of them are better than Pink Berry. To wait in that insane line for something this bad is just ridiculous. Go somewhere else. Pros: toppings Cons: long lines, bland yogurt more

Love the Yogurt and fresh fruit toppings! 11/6/2007

I love the yogurt and frsh fruit toppings! The yogurt has a tart taste that keeps you coming back for more! There's usually a line out the door, but the service is pretty quick! I recommend the original with fresh fruit! It's perfect everyday! Pros: DELICIOUS YOGURT!!!! Cons: long lines more

Very outgoing great service! Said 10/17/2007

I wondered what all the 'hype' was about. When their new shop opened in Silver Lake I was excited to taste what everone was talking about. However...I couldn't get near the place. Lines out the door every time I drove by. I'm not one who likes to wait in line, so.....I just kept thinking one day it'll be my turn. Sure enough the day came. Not one person was in line when I drove by. I found a parking spot quickly and ran in to get myself some of what this new 'yogurt'. I ordered a medium regular with 3 toppings (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries). Found a place to rest my rear end and dove in. I went with the idea that I wouldn't like it (thought that nothing could beat MY favorite ice cream parlour), and I was WRONG! I loved every bite. I couldn't find anything wrong...just that maybe I should have ordered a LARGE \r order. Maybe next time. So, I think it's everything people were talking about and I don't understand why some think it's so terrible. Taste buds, I guess. I'll keep going back over and over. I'm glad their in my neighborhood!!! Pros: Loved the atmosphere and the friendly service Cons: Not enough parking more

Nasty! 10/16/2007

This place is nasty. I do not know why people wait in line. There is no rational reason to pay for yogurt that tastes this bad. I even added fresh fruit to it and I still could not eat it. Pros: Cute atmosphere/decorations Cons: The yogurt itself more

Love it. 9/25/2007

I love this yogurt. It's not too sweet and my favorite is strawberry, mochi and coconut! It also has all the ""good"" qualities of real yogurt. I really think they should consider a low-carb or sugar free option. It's not loaded with sugar, but I still eat it as a treat since it does have some in there. I love this place. Pros: tasty, fairly healthy Cons: long wait sometimes more

Great Different Taste 9/22/2007

Pinkberry is a great place to go if you are craving something different and refreshing from other frozen yogurt places. The first bite you try will shock you, but as you continue to eat it, it becomes addicting. The wierd thing is it tastes good with many different toppings, from fruit to cereal, to chocolate. My favorite combination is definitely plain yogurt, chocolate chips, cocoa pebbles, and sweet rice cakes :) mmmm. Pros: Ambience, Service, Flavor Cons: Limited Seating, Parking more

SICK!! (and not in a good way) 9/19/2007

Gosh this place is SOOO over rated just like a lot of things in LA. I went in with such high expectations because I keep hearing how it is the best and I was totally grossed out. I tried the green tea one and the vanilla off my friends, and it was SO TART and SICK. UGH it wasn't sweet at all like soft serve yogurt. Freakin McDonald's does their vanilla cone for 99 cents way better than this tart yogurt from a powdered mixture junk. Come to find out from all my friends they didn't like it either! BUT they made themselves learn to like it!!! HAHA! So everyone is trying to fit in... yeah it's soo good.. yeah we dont' want to have a different opinion than some famous weirdos! Go back to dariy queen! Pros: you can kiss celeb butt Cons: you are making yourself like something just because everyone else does more
