Pine River Ranch B & B

My husband and I shared a wonderful two night stay at Pine River Ranch (a gift from our children) and it was just magical. The suite was so cozy and the Jacuzzi tub was AMAZING! We shared breakfast huddled up together on our private deck and enjoyed the beautiful scenery, then warmed back up in front of our river rock fireplace! There is a one mile nature trail around the property and we were sad there wasn't enough snow to borrow their snow shoes and explore! We ate dinner in the town of Leavenworth one night and at a nearby restaurant the other night and all around just had a great stay. It was great to reconnect with my husband and just spend time with the two of us with no distractions. more

I read your review of Pine River and had to respond! I cannot believe you didn't have a great stay there! I have actually stayed there twice now and I plan to continue going back. I have had nothing but exceptional service and GREAT food! How can you not love strawberry waffles with bacon and fruit delivered to your door? I did not have any privacy issues because we stayed in one of the log cabin suites, I can see how there may be some noise if you are in the main house but i figured since the rooms were on 2 different floors that wouldn't be a problem. I think you should give the ranch another try (and they lowered their weekday prices to $149). Stay in the Natapoc Suite, it's my favorite! I recommend this BnB to my friends all the time and have been so impressed with it! more

Fairly clean, unapologetic svc. Not as private as they say, patio/deck area is visible by neighbor guests, can hear guests in next room running their jacuzzi tub and laughing, etc. Food was good, not much of a view. No a/c. Overall NOT what it was advertised to be, just okay. Not worth the price. Oh and they called at 10:30 they night before we reserved to yell at us for not being there yet! Only it was her mistake (the dates were right just not day of the week) it was listed wrong and they had now double-booked! Mistakes happen yet I couldn't help notice the lack of apology when we checked in. I made a casual 'hope it all worked out' comment about it and we were told 'we will not discuss that'. You just got the feeling that you should feel honored to pay to stay at their place. Not the feeling I was going for. We stopped by "Run of the River" on the way out of town, and oh boy! We're staying there next time! The man there let us see rooms unescorted and told us to take 5 minutes and sit on the swing (on the balconies of most rooms).....AHHHHH! We even saw a couple of fawns playing with their mother in the back. Here you got the feeling they were there to serve you and understood people want privacy and to relax. Anyway, that's another review I'll have to write when i go! more
