Review content:
Fairly clean, unapologetic svc. Not as private as they say, patio/deck area is visible by neighbor guests, can hear guests in next room running their jacuzzi tub and laughing, etc. Food was good, not much of a view. No a/c. Overall NOT what it was advertised to be, just okay. Not worth the price.
Oh and they called at 10:30 they night before we reserved to yell at us for not being there yet! Only it was her mistake (the dates were right just not day of the week) it was listed wrong and they had now double-booked! Mistakes happen yet I couldn't help notice the lack of apology when we checked in. I made a casual 'hope it all worked out' comment about it and we were told 'we will not discuss that'. You just got the feeling that you should feel honored to pay to stay at their place. Not the feeling I was going for. We stopped by "Run of the River" on the way out of town, and oh boy! We're staying there next time! The man there let us see rooms unescorted and told us to take 5 minutes and sit on the swing (on the balconies of most rooms).....AHHHHH! We even saw a couple of fawns playing with their mother in the back. Here you got the feeling they were there to serve you and understood people want privacy and to relax. Anyway, that's another review I'll have to write when i go!
