Piccini Wood Fired Brick Oven

We think that the food was very good. Even when we ordered take out the food was excellent. We have went there several times. The service was ok. The main problem was too many kids behind the counter with too many cell phones. One of the biggest problem is that when we paid for our food and the order was ready, we had to ask them 1000 times to get it. They were never rude just the rushed feeling! more

My family and I ate at Piccinis on Tuesday 8/28/10. Everyone dining on the porch had to leave the area because the flies from the overflowing dumpster were attacking us. Whenb I tried to complain everone hid including the owner. They only take cash to avoid paying Uncle Sam his part & to rip off the IRS. When I called to complain about the flies the arrogant owner (DavePiccini) told me to screw off, that he doesnt need my business. I notified the Came May County Health Department. Avoid this jerks establishment. more

We decided to try Piccini's while down in OC for the day because my sister always orders their crab pizza for takeout. When we pulled up in the lot it was absolutely empty at 3:30 in the afternoon. We thought the place was closed. As we entered the restaurant we seen obnoxious signs posted everywhere that no credit or debit cards are taken. We almost left but realized we had some cash so decided to stay. The girl with short blond hair behind the counter was miserable and snobby. She had the biggest puss on her face and didn't make you feel welcome at all. We decided to order a cheese pizza for us and the kids and my husband ordered a chicken cheesesteak. Our waitress with red curly hair was friendlier than the other girl but she never asked for refills on our drinks or checked on to see how our food was. The food took forever even though noone else was there dining and I counted at least 5 to 6 people working in the kitchen. The food was okay but I definetly would not return here just for the lack of customer service. more

Title says it all. He might be this tonyrocco guy who left the last fantastic piccini review. In any case, me and a friend of mine went down to OC for a week to relax. When we drove to wawa to use the atm we noticed the parking lot was completely full, and piccini's is completely empty except for the owners green jeep, so we decide to park next door so we don't have to park a block down. We get out and I walk towards wawa and my friend tries to find his wallet in the car. The prick owner comes out and says he cant park there, even with 50 empty spaces. Fine. My friend proceeds to go and get me since I have the keys. The prick owner thinks my friend is ignoring him and flips out, threatening to call the cops and disrespecting my friend when he was simply trying to come and get me to move the car. As I saw my friend in distress, I ran back and the prick owner went on a rant about my friend having an attitude problem for about 5 minutes, calling him a punk. My friend just laughed. Get real prick owner. If anyone spots a green jeep wrangler jk with floral pattern seats, please call him the prick owner from now on. more

This place is so consistient with making unbelivable great tasting food. The pasta dishes are incredible.\r I love true Italian food and have been to many Italian resturaunts in center city Phila and south philly.\r Piccini is right up there with all of them and even better than some. I notice that the owners are always there, this may have someting to do with the great food and polite staff.\r I can go on and on about this place but I am making myself so hungry for their food. My last comment would simply be this if you want true Italian cooking (not olive garden) yuck! These people really try hard. And they succeed. Great summer workers too. But all that you may remember is the meal. Some of their dishes are just remarkable. The white pizza is really tasty and the pasta dishes are always satisfying. This is a good place. If you order a dinner delivery without ordering a salad, be sure to ask for bread. We went to OC, NJ for the first time in May 2006 and asked a local couple walking down the street a good place to eat around there and they highly recommended Piccini's. Their selection of pizza's is unbelievable, the Margherita pizza is AWESOME!!! We live in PA and drove down a few weekend's in row just to eat their pizza. They also have AWESOME Pasta and Seafood dishes....our plates came out loaded w/pasta and seafood. We came to this site to try and find a pizza that rivals what we had at Piccini's so far same old shredded mozzarella with doughy crust and tomato sauce. Piccini's had fresh sliced not shredded mozzarella, fresh basil cooked in a brick oven. It's EXCELLENT :) Pros: Excellent Food Cons: Not in PA more
